A short description of NIT-W.
Placements: Nearly 93.48% of the students are placed in my course. The highest package offered was 52.89 LPA, the average package offered was 21.19 LPA, and the median package offered was 20 LPA. The top recruiting companies for EEE in NIT-W are Samsung, Reliance Industries, Bajaj Auto, Bosch, Microsoft, Alstom, IOCL, HPCL, Accenture, Honeywell, L&T, etc. A decent number of students who perform well get internship opportunities in the top companies like the ones mentioned above. The top roles offered in my course are SDE, Data Analyst, Embedded Software Engineer, Management Trainee, Graduate Trainee, etc.
Infrastructure: We have good and decent facilities and infrastructure in the college and also in my department. We have good Wi-Fi facilities in all the departments and academic and non-academic buildings of the college as well. The labs are well-equipped with the necessary instruments, and the library is pretty good and very large with a wide range of books and digital facilities. The quality of facilities in my hostel and the quality of food available in the mess and canteen is very average and not that good at all, but we have good medical facilities. Sports and games are also very good.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful in academics, and they are well-qualified in their respective subjects and highly knowledgeable. The teaching quality is amazing. The course curriculum is very relevant to the modern world, and it makes the students well-aware and industry-ready. The semester exams in the college are a bit difficult, and we need to have good preparation for them to ace the exams, or we may get less CGPA which may affect our further career and opportunities we get. The pass percentage is normally 40% in the end-semester exams to pass in a course, and almost everyone here passes, leaving very few behind.
Other: I chose this course as I'm interested in the branch of electrical engineering, and here in my college, I have many opportunities like going into core jobs and government jobs like PSUs pursuing the core fields and also the technical and IT-related jobs of coding and software side by developing some skills, as we have great placement opportunities here. The things I wish would be better or improved about my course are to bring in modern technology and be well connected to the present world. We have very good events, fests, campus crowd, good connections, campus surroundings, scholarships for the needy, and excellent facilities for extracurricular activities and all.

Students and faculty members are very friendly.
Placements: In our course, students from 3rd year are eligible for placements. I'm not aware of campus placement, but my brother got placed in L&T company. Placement structure is enhanced after we finish the second year. I plan to pursue a Master's from here.
Infrastructure: Hostels are adjustable, and rooms are good, but washrooms are not that good. Some are good, but on some floors such as for B.Tech 1st year and M.Tech washrooms are quite bad. To be honest, they are adjustable. Staff is moderately cooperative.
Faculty: I have heard that there are more than 1000 faculty members including all departments. Around 50,000 students from all departments. The ratio of students to faculty members is equal. Exams our department conducts 1 unit test, 1 internal and one external. There are marks provided by faculty members for a quiz, notebooks, assignments, etc.
Other: Campus life is fun, NITW is filled with various clubs and programs, festivals, and many more. We have sports-based competitions such as inter-NIT sports. There are dance programs, drama, music, instruments, quizzes, and many more fun activities.

Absolutely satisfied with the course.
Placements: NITW is the best place for good opportunities that enhance practical exposure and help in placements. Up to 76% of students are placed in big tech companies. The highest package is 26 Lacs, and the lowest package is 13 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Microsoft, and IBM.
Infrastructure: Our college provides the best facilities and expert faculty who create an easy optimal learning environment and motivate towards studies. Labs are well-equipped, and more computers have been updated recently, working with new technologies. The quality of food at the canteen is good.
Faculty: Faculty is knowledgeable, and the campus promotes a culture of academic excellence. They teach well and have masters as their qualification. Their way of teaching in practical makes us industry-ready. The semester exams are much difficult to pass. Our passing percent is 45%.

Fascinating life at NIT Warangal.
Placements: NIT Warangal achieves 80-90% placements. CSE has the highest package of more than 80 LPA. The average salary package offered is 16 LPA. The salary package offered to other branches is around 6 LPA - 10 LPA. Top recruiters include Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Tata. Around 70-80% of students got internships. Companies like Microsoft, Qualcomm, and Adobe visit the college. Roles offered include software developer, data analyst, and core engineering positions.
Infrastructure: NIT Warangal offers modern labs, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, and a well-stocked library for all courses. Hostels have spacious rooms, Wi-Fi, and recreational space. The mess food is decent with a variety of food options. Our canteens offer snacks. A medical center is available 24/7. Sports facilities include cricket, football, basketball, and a gym. Overall, the infrastructure is well-maintained and student-friendly.
Faculty: Faculty members at NIT Warangal are highly qualified and supportive, blending academic expertise with practical insights. The teaching quality is excellent with modern methods and real-world applications. The curriculum is well-designed, industry-relevant, and regularly updated for employability. Semester exams are moderately challenging, emphasizing concepts and application. The pass percentage is 90%. It is high, reflecting strong academic support and student performance.
Other: I chose B.Tech biotechnology at NIT Warangal for its interdisciplinary scope in healthcare, research, and technology. The course offers modern labs, hands-on projects, and industry exposure. The curriculum is good but could include more practical applications and electives diversity. Campus life is vibrant. Our college conducts events like Technozion and SpringSpree. The crowd is diverse. It has a great connectivity. Our college provides scholarships. Extracurricular activities, sports, and a lush campus make a holistic experience.

Perfect college and the best college.
Placements: My batch, almost 80 percent of students, got placed in different companies like IBM, Infosys, Accenture, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Intel, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase. Many of my friends and college mates got internship opportunities also. The highest package of my batch was 24 lakhs, and the average was 5-8 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college facilities are too good. The infrastructure and maintenance are also good. We have many labs that are highly customized. We do have many libraries for studying. We have many canteens too, and also grounds. Our college has very big hostels which are well-maintained, and the food at our mess is excellent.
Faculty: The teachers of our college are highly educated and knowledgeable. They teach very brilliantly and make understanding easy. The course curriculum is very relevant. Our semester exams are quite hard to pass, but easy. The pass percentage is 45 percent.
Other: As NIT Hyderabad is a very good college and the top college of our state, I decided to join this college and got admission through the JEE Main exam. Many fests and events are held at our college.

If you do not want CSE and mechanical, don't come to this college.
Placements: The highest package offered in core is 20 lacs per annum. The average package is around 12 LPA. BPCL, L&T, Tata motors, etc. are the top companies. Approximately, all the student get internships. At NITW, 90% students from mechanical were placed which is a good image for the college, and in CSE there is almost 100% placements rate.
Infrastructure: Some hostels are good, but in the 2nd year, 7th and 3rd block hostels are too bad. Wi-Fi is good and the library is also fine. The food is not so good. Sport facilities are better than other NITs, we have one stadium where you can play cricket, football, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are not so helpful. In 2 years I met only one professor who was encouraging. Their teaching quality is average. I think it's relevant, some courses make the students industry ready. There is an average grading system at NITW, so you have to obtain above average marks to get good CGPA.
Other: I like the automotive industry, so I decided to study mechanical branch and this course gives you a practical way of thinking. Some theory subjects are there which I think are not important. Events are spring-spree and tech fest.
