Q:   Which is a better college to pursue B.Tech among NIT, Warangal and DTU?

A:
Both the colleges are great, NIT Warangal should be given more preference because DTU has 85% state quota, you should go for DTU if your school is in Delhi region. Otherwise, course curriculum and infrastructure of NIT Warangal is better. DTU is better in terms of placements but again, you will not get a preferred branch at the same rank if you are from outside Delhi region.

Best NIT for placement and academic .
Placements: As for placement, NITW is really good in all departments. As I consider in the metallurgical and material science engineering department, the core and non-core placement is good. In current, one of our seniors got placed in Exxon Mobile, which is the dream company for the core person. On the software side and in management, there are many companies like Oracle, SaaS Labs, ICICI Bank, sprinkler and many more .
Infrastructure: In NITW, you have Asia's biggest hostel, which is 1.8k ( Ultra Mega Hostel). This hostel is for 1 year of B.Tech., complete M.Tech., and Ph.D. students. You will get a very big library of around 1,500 books, which has AC. In your third and final year, you will be shifted to 1K hostel. In 1K, rooms are not that spacious, but the overall infrastructure is good.
Faculty: In 1 year, you will get an assistant professor but after that, all high-level professors will teach. Professors are really helpful and very well qualified. As we talk about course curriculum, it is more or less the same as the curriculum in IITs. Talking about exams, it totally depends on the professor; he can set very tough papers as well as very easy papers.
Other: Talking about fest and events, NITW has three annual fest: 1 Springs spree ( Cultural fest, south India, the biggest fest) 2 Technozion ( Technical fest ) 3 Youth fest (on the birth of swami vivekananda )

Really prestigious college, good placement, internship opportunities, and good infrastructure.
Placements: Around 90% of students get placed. The highest package in MME is around INR 25 LPA, the lowest is INR 8 LPA and the average is INR 10 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Exxonmobil, Tata steel and many others. Students got internships at IIT Hyderabad, Madras, Tata steel and other colleges, and as internships are 100% mandatory, everyone gets internship opportunities. Roles offered in my course are senior engineer in automobile companies, research work, DMRL, and DRDO opportunities.
Infrastructure: I live in a girls hostel, so there are separate hostels for first-year girls and a big hostel with three blocks for next-year girls. First-year hostels do have gysers and Indian toilets, whereas in other hostels we don't have gysers but there is more cleanliness than in 1st-year hostels. There is a mess inside the hostel; there is a basketball court within the hostel; and there is also a gym. Mess is not too great to be mentioned in detail, but it does have good buttermilk, rasam and vegetarian biryani price and also monthly there is a special mess in which more dishes are given with better sweets. Also to be mentioned, fruits and sweets are provided at dinner.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. They all teach real good and are always available for our help. The course structure is relevant; from the beginning, we had an introduction to our branch and core subjects, which increased our interest in core. There is a compulsory internship for students to get exposure, which is helpful to make them industry-ready.
Other: The college is in the middle of the city so everything is near. You can explore a lot of places. There are many events throughout the year. There are two major fests. Technozion is a tech fest and Springs Spree is the mega event. These are the best times to enjoy college life.

NIT Warangal College Review.
Placements: The placement history of NITW is very good; 80 percent of the B.Tech students get placed. The highest package as of 2024 is 88 LPA, the average package is around 15 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA per annum. Companies like Microsoft, Uber, Google, and many product-based companies also visit NITW during the placement season. Roles offered are Analyst, SDE, SWE, GET, and GMT.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in hostels and the college. The infrastructure is decent, classrooms are medium-sized, and the library has many books, including a digital library inside. The quality of food available is average, and we have a food street, Domino’s, and many other food sources available inside and nearby the campus.
Faculty: At NITW, continuous evaluation is followed (as per the 2021-25 batch), and the grading system is relatively straightforward. The pass percentage in our class is 98 percent, and only a few (3-4) students have backlogs. Semester exams are not very difficult and not very easy, depending on the professor preparing the question paper.

Additional digital library is also there. All necessary facilities are there in hostel rooms. Mess food is also fine. Healthcare centre provides required treatment to students in case. NIT Warangal campus and infra are nice.
Placements: NIT Warangal is ranked number three among all NITS in India. It holds an NIRF ranking of twenty one among all colleges of India. The infrastructure is not satisfying. It has to improve a lot. The new director has made some good changes.
Infrastructure: Metallurgy is a growing course in the industry. Hostels are good. I think a good college with placements, having better infra. Though hostels and mess food are manageable. There is a food street where many students have their BF and dinner.
Faculty: Faculty are Ph.D. holders. They encourage each student to participate in various events and competitive exams like GATE. They encourage all those students who go to inter NIT and represent NIT there. The exams during these events are scheduled for them .
