Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: In my course, the percentage of students placed is very low. About 25% of students were placed. Internships were found individually. There are no recruiting companies for production engineering. Placements are mainly for IT or mechanical engineering.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library are good. I am living in a private hostel. In my hostel, the facilities are good, and the food quality is superb. There is a canteen on campus, but the food there is average, not worth it. The college also gives importance to sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are ready to clear all our doubts every time. Semester exams are not that tough. The pass percentage is average. Classes are not that great. Many assignments are given by faculty members.
Other: I chose this course because of this college's value and the campus life. Events and fests are all conducted by students, which is very nice.

It is an excellent college with all facilities.
Placements: There are 761 students in this batch. Almost 100% of students got placed in our course. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Tyre Motors, etc. Around 80% of students got internships in this course. It is the best college for students.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are very good. The food served in the mess is decent. Girls are not allowed to go outside after 9:30 AM, but there is no time limit for boys. This college should improve its hostel facilities. Laboratories are good. All staff members are helpful in this college. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms are well-maintained. There is a decent library in this college.
Faculty: All teachers are good. Semester exams are moderate. It is the second top engineering college in Kerala.
Other: Events and fests are excellent. Many clubs are available such as ISTE, IEDC, etc. It helps us to add certificates to our resumes. Our campus life is the best.

Review of Government Engineering College, Thrissur.
Placements: In our college, almost all students are placed. Students with a CGPA above 7 will get placements. Teachers will recommend those students. Top recruiting companies like Ashok Leyland, Mahindra, Apollo, etc., visit our campus. Top IT companies like Infosys, TCS, etc., visit our campus.
Infrastructure: Labs are excellent. Rooms are good. A library is available. There are huge and separate hostels for girls and boys which you can get only by allotment. The quality of the food in the hostel is good and affordable.
Faculty: Most teachers are Ph.D. holders, and other teachers are doing Ph.D. Teachers use the English language, so it is helpful for non-Keralites as well. Our teachers help us learn about placement options and how to prepare for them. They are very supportive and helpful.

One of the best college to study B.Tech in Kerala.
Placements: Great Placement opportunities are there. If you are having a CGPA of 7 or above with no arrears you can surely get placed if you try hard. Core companies are coming for recruiting but not much. Most of the companies are from IT Field. An average of 6 LPA is offered.
Infrastructure: There are good lab facilities and faculty members. Wi-Fi is available in the campus. A great library with vast collection of engineering related books is there, also literature books are there. Hostel facility is also nice. But not everyone is provided with college hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are of great quality and experience, they will help you. Course will introduce you to the industrial field. By the end of the course you will be ready to enter the industrial field. Semester exams are not much hard, if you study well you can have good CGPA.
Other: Great and beautiful campus is the main attraction of GEC Thrissur.
