Good placements, nice infrastructure but only your marks speaks here.
Placements: In my class, almost 90 percent of the students were placed in the placement. There are many core companies available for my course. The average pack of our college placement is 400000 per annum and the maximum package would be 1200000 per annum. Overall placements are really good.
Infrastructure: The department has normal wooden tables and a blackboard. There are six fans per classroom. The library is really well maintained and there are more than 60,000 books. Our college has two food courts, one café and one stationery store where students can get their stationery and hostel students can get their stuff.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members of the department have completed their Ph.D. Their teaching method is not so bad. There are two semesters per year for 100 marks: 50 internals and 50 exams. The 50 internal marks contain attendance, library usage, and 15 marks per internal exam.
Other: There would be many functions. Pongal celebration and cascall are the main functions of PSGCAS.

You need the cut off of 740 above out of 800 to get admission in merit basis. They consider your major four subjects, excluding languages.
