Review of Shivaji College, University of Delhi.
Placements: My batch is 2021-2024, three-year course in BA . Hons. Geography in Shivaji College. The lowest pack is 2 lacs and the maximum pack is 8 lacs. Also here is an internship available for all courses; many companies are coordinators with colleges and clubs of college society.
Infrastructure: Overall, infrastructure is awesome. All types of facilities are available here, like the hygiene canteen and class rooms. For practical, different courses have there own labs. The main library + department library are available here. WiFi is available all the time. All necessary equipment for sports is available in the sports room. Also, there are two mini-parks here for a green atmosphere. There are 100+ trees installed in the campus area. Overall, good college infrastructure.
Faculty: Faculty are very helpful, especially the professors, who are awesome. They are always ready for doubt-solving. There are mentor and menti groups and sessions available 24x7 for all the students. Overall, they are good in nature and behavior. Extracurricular activities are organized every week or month. Semester-wise exams are taken by department or university.
Other: The college fest was awesome . The number of crowds is uncountable. All types of connectivity are available here, like metro and DTC, which are popular transportations available here. The campus area is so big and the sports group is also so big. A cricket stadium-like ground is here. All types of outdoor sports are available here. The atmosphere of campus is environment-friendly. 100 + trees are installed in the campus area. Canteens are hygienic and a cafe is also available in the campus area. Scholarships are available here for students who belong to the economic week section and another sector. Different types of companies offer internships or placements.

Review of Shivaji College, University of Delhi.
Placements: In the geography course, there are little to no placements and opportunities, as the students had to join the placement cell and go for other internships and placements such as management, data handling, etc. There were no such specific placements for geography .
Infrastructure: There are labs fully functioning and classes with only fans and no AC's and they are moderately ventilated too. There is no hostel facility in Shivaji College, so students use PGs that are available in the Shivaji Enclave on the back side and nearby areas. You can get PG easily there but the rent is quite high.
Faculty: The faculty is good and experienced, with some permanent teachers such as Mr. Tejbir Rana, Ms. Lalita Rana, and Ms. Preeti Tiwari. They have many years of experience, and they teach well too. The course is about how geography is related to social, political and economic factors and how they are influenced by them. It is an interesting and good course; it teaches you many things, like GPS, GIS, satellite imagery, urban planning, cartography and many more things. Talking about semester exams, they are moderate to easy, in which a student can score good marks but have to write in depth about various topics .
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in studying the earth and its activities. It was due to my own interest that I selected this course. The course can be learned in a better way through field trips and surveys, and they are partly missing as the data used is only about the international survey of 2001, 2011, 1991, and so on, but the intermediate survey is also necessary. So some improvements that can be made include more field trips and surveys, but overall, it's good and interesting. The festivals are awesome and the campus crowd is good too, with different cultures intertwined in the college. Campus infrastructure is average but after the inclusion of new buildings, it has improved a lot. It has scholarships for children with weak economic backgrounds where they are interviewed and selected for the scholarship and there are many curricular societies such as NCC, NSS, fashion society, and dance society, but the only thing missing is game coaches. There are no coaches for any sports and students bring their own equipment to play on the ground.

Good faculty but no placements, college life and crowd is good but infrastructure could be better.
Placements: Their is no placement as such in college. The placement cell is there but it doesn't really provide useful or good placements. Mostly students opt for Masters after their Bachelor degree or either prepare for competitive exams like UPSC, etc. You can still apply for off-campus placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very bad. The washrooms are really hygienic in the old building, but they're still better in the new building. The fans are also sometimes not working properly. The classes are sometimes held in bamboo rooms in summer, and one can easily get unconscious due to the eating up of the roof. The library is the only good thing in college. There is no hostel facility.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. All of them have their Ph.D. degrees from renowned universities. They are hired after clearing several exams and interviews. This course in itself isn't sufficient. You need to do Masters to get good placements. The semester exams happen once in every semester, and they are relatively easy. An average student can clear it too. The pass percentage is 6.6 CGPA.
Other: The crowd is from all across the country. Societies are very good and active. They conduct several events throughout the year, providing exposure, and personality also improves. Annual festival happens every year called 'VIBRATIONS' which is quite good. Different programs are conducted, and a singer is called on the last day.

Yes, you can get Shivaji College. Your marks are good. There is another 1-2 percent relaxation at DU for female candidates. Your name would come in the 2nd or 3rd cut-off. All the best.
