It's not the best, but it's not the worst either.
Placements: As for placements, I've heard mixed reviews from seniors. Some have gotten decent jobs, while others are still struggling. The college does have a placement cell, but it's not very active. They do invite some companies for campus placements, but the packages are not very impressive.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for my course is average. The classrooms are decent but could be better maintained. The faculty members are knowledgeable, but sometimes the equipment in the labs can be outdated. However, one major drawback is that the college does not have hostel facilities. As a student, I have to commute from my home to the college, which can be tiring and time-consuming. I wish the college would provide hostel facilities to make life easier for students like me.
Faculty: The faculty for my course is definitely the highlight — they're knowledgeable, experienced, and always willing to help. However, the curriculum and exams are just average. The course structure could be more modern and relevant to the industry, and the exams are pretty straightforward and don't really challenge you to think critically.
Other: The college does offer some extracurricular activities, but they're not as frequent or well-organized as I'd like.

College is overall good if you are the student who don't get easily distracted by others.
Placements: Around 25% of students in the B.Com (Hons) course get placed. The highest package offered is 7–8 LPA, and the average package is around 3–4 LPA. Approximately 10% of students secure internships in companies like Wipro, ICICI, Tommy Hilfiger, and JSW. Common roles include sales executive and consultant.
Infrastructure: The college provides labs, classrooms, and a library, though some labs are small in size. Hostel facilities are not available. The canteen offers good food that is worth the price. However, sports activities are not highly encouraged, and no dedicated medical facilities have been observed. There is, however, a separate room for girls to prepare during events.
Faculty: The teaching quality is decent, but some teachers do not prioritize completing the course or adequately preparing students for the industry. The passing percentage is around 95%, and exams are moderately tough.

Shyam Lal College, Shahdara.
Placements: The placement facility at this college is very poor. The highest package for a B.Com student is ₹30,000 per month, and the percentage of students who got internships is only 10%. This college increases the fees year by year; I paid ₹20,500 in the first year, ₹22,500 in the second year, and ₹24,500 in the third year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for courses is good because many teachers who teach in SRCC-like colleges have migrated to our college, Shyam Lal. I gave 3 stars for the course, but there is no hostel in this college for students, so I gave 0 for hostel facilities. The department of courses needs to improve.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and well-qualified, with good knowledge. Their communication skills with students are also very good. The semester exams at this college are very difficult because they check our mark sheets very carefully.
Other: I chose this course because I want to work in large companies. Events and fests are held every 2-3 months, and the campus surroundings are very pleasant, with plenty of trees and plants.

Delhi University in-depth analysis.
Placements: A few percent of students were placed from my course. I am not sure about the highest salary package, but the lowest was 5 lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies were amazing, like Flipkart and Microsoft. Students were placed in different positions according to their abilities and skills. Some students were placed as senior account managers, some as executive accountants, and others as accountants.
Infrastructure: I like the infrastructure of my college. It has the latest possible facilities, like smart classes, a big auditorium, playgrounds, and a park. Almost all types of books and journals are available in the library. The facilities and technological provisions are very advanced in the classrooms. They provide smart classes for a better understanding of topics. Delhi University has knowledgeable and supportive faculty, like experienced professors who are passionate about teaching. Delhi University organizes a mentorship and counseling program every year for students, and it is free for campus students. My overall experience with campus life is pretty good. Almost all types of books and journals are available in the library. The facilities and technological provisions are very advanced in the classrooms. They provide smart classes for a better understanding of topics. Delhi University offers sports and extracurricular activities for students to grow.
Faculty: Delhi University has knowledgeable and supportive faculty, like experienced professors who are passionate about teaching. Semester exams are not that tough; you can easily clear exams with moderate studying. You don't need to study hard to pass exams. The passing criterion is that you just have to pass 60% of the subjects (i.e., if you have 10 subjects, you have to pass 6 subjects to clear the semester).
Other: Delhi University has knowledgeable and supportive faculty, like experienced professors who are passionate about teaching. Delhi University organizes a mentorship and counseling program every year for students, and it is free for campus students. The faculty of Delhi University is knowledgeable and supportive. The faculty-to-student ratio is also well-maintained. Faculty-student relationships are approachable. Exams are held two times a year. They are not too difficult; you can easily clear exams with moderate studying.

Actual reality of a DU college .
Placements: College has diverse courses and all the streams, which are science, commerce and arts. The highest package for which a candidate was placed from college was about 12 LPA. But on average, only 10 to 20 percent of students are getting placements and more of them usually get around 4 to 6 LPAs only. And the rest might get internships for experience .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure facilities aren't so good in the college. Although whiteboards are being installed in every classroom. Projectors placed in classrooms aren't working at all. Teachers tend to take online classes whenever they don't get labs for practical classes. Moreover, there are 3 labs in college and only 2 are working in the 3rd lab; there aren't laptops working, not even a proper chair for sitting. The canteen is having average food now but with a lot of humidity in it as it's not having enough fans and AC to control the heat inside. But the library of the college is amazing, with proper air conditioning and comfortable chairs on the first floor; the library on the ground floor isn't so well maintained.
Faculty: Semester exams in the college are too difficult as the students need to get passing marks in both internal and external. And internal marks are 70 out of which at least 40 should be scored so that students get passed. In the external examination as well, which is 90 marks, students need at least 30 to 35 for getting passing marks overall.
