Some facts about Pandit Deendayal Energy University!
Placements: The college claims a placement rate of 90%. The highest placement in the Electrical Engineering branch was 9.16 LPA CTC, and the average was 6.25 LPA CTC. 1) Shell 2) Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India 3) Jubilant Ingrevia 4) Reliance Industries 5) MG Motors 6) Aditya Birla Group 7) Alstom 8) Tata Power 9) Tata AutoComp 10) Yokogawa 11) Torrent Power 12) L&T Ltd 13) iSun 14) Transformers & Rectifiers (India) This is claimed by PDEU, and it is what it is.
Infrastructure: The campus is clean, green, and well-maintained. Some faculty members are cooperative, while others are least bothered about you and can make you suffer at times; but it all depends upon your behavior. Spoon-feeding is also done, like in schools and other colleges. If you want exposure, the college will provide it, but you have to run after it. Mess food may seem fascinating for a couple of weeks, but it will turn out to be the same as other colleges. However, a good thing is that the mess staff members are very cooperative and will provide you with your birthday cake and extra stuff for free. Food is unlimited, including non-veg items from chicken curry to egg dishes.
Faculty: Curriculum is the same as IITs and NITs. You become only theoretically aware of your field unless you take the initiative to explore practical exposure. Faculty have knowledge and experience, but some of them lag at the moment of delivering their knowledge to students.

The facilities provided are really good here.
Placements: The placements at PDPU have been great, and many students got placed in well-known companies like Adani, Reliance, Torrent Power etc. The placements are low in the past 2 years due to the pandemic as many companies were removing their employees rather than recruiting.

If you want to get exposed to the best, I suggest you join PDEU.
Placements: Around 50% of the students were placed from our batch. Most of them attended off-campus drives of various companies. The highest salary package was offered by Reliance Industries for a GET role, and it was 6 LPA, followed by Adani Power for a GET role of 4.5 LPA. About 50% of the students didn't attend placements because the profiles offered by companies were related to sales, and also the salary packages offered are very low. Many of us got internships in reputed MNCs and some government PSUs also. GET and management trainees were the roles offered by most of the companies.
Infrastructure: There are best-in-class laboratories for the electrical department, and lab technicians are also equally skillful. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The library is also well-equipped with desktops for students to surf the internet. Classrooms are well-equipped with best-in-class furniture, a projector and a desktop with the internet. You will get the best hostels ever in your entire student life. Every room will be occupied by two students, with separate study tables, Godrej almirahs, soft boards, air-conditioners and high-speed LAN for every student. The quality of the food served is amazing, but you will get bored later and expect a lot.
Faculty: The teachers of our college are well qualified as most of them are PhD holders from IITs. So, you can expect good teaching quality. Our university follows the same course curriculum as IIT Roorkee. It makes students industry-ready, but since there has been an economic recession, now job opportunities are less.
Other: I chose electrical engineering because I had an interest in it. My interest has increased because of the facilities offered by our institute. I think more practical knowledge should be provided so that when students get placed in reputed companies, they know the work level of their juniors. Scholarships are provided to students who have scored over 8.5 CPI regularly throughout their course.
