Thakur College has one of the good infrastructures in Mumbai, but placement wise it is average.
Placements: The average package is 6 LPA and the highest is up to 20 LPA. Where there are different companies, visits to colleges for recruitment. Companies such as Accenture, Deloitte, Flipkart, Tata, and many others. The percentage of students who get placed is about 60 percent. Many of them try for off-campus placement, and many more try for higher studies.
Infrastructure: One of the best infrastructures in Mumbai. There are different sports events like Reflex - online gaming competition, T-Spark- Intra-college level competition, Enertia - Inera college level competition, and many more. The labs and classes are all air-conditioned.
Faculty: As it is an autonomous college, thus there is no pressure of syllabus, but there are 3 unit exams and 1 ESE exam in 1 semester. Overall, it is okay. There is a credit-based mark system in the TET Mumbai. It depends on the student whether they are focusing on academics or on extracurricular activities; based on that, one will get credits.
Other: There are too many events conducted in the college. You will get exposure to all the events. For example : Zephyr - a technical event, Multicon - Paper Presentation, Sojourn - Biggest Cultural event.

Excellent college with good infrastructure and a big campus, but it lacks good faculty members.
Placements: Placement season is just getting started for batch 2025, and there are opportunities out there. Oracle has already done a pre-placement talk, and many more will be coming in for on-campus placements. But still, the average package is quite low compared to other engineering colleges in Mumbai.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good and better than most of the engineering colleges in Mumbai's western suburbs. All classrooms have AC, and even the labs are decent. Overall, the college does have good infrastructure and a good campus. But the computer systems in the lab can be improved.
Faculty: The faculty members of this department AI&this are really bad at teaching, and there is always a shortage of faculty members. Every now and then, faculty members join and leave very often. But for those who only want marks by writing anything in the exam, for them, it is really nice.

Above Average college in Mumbai with good infrastructure and average placements.
Placements: On average, the placements range from 4 to 6 lacs per annum, with only a limited number of students, around 20 to 30, managing to secure packages above 10 lacs through their own dedication and efforts. While the placements in the teaching field are commendable, individuals who are not pursuing teaching should not consider this college.
Infrastructure: Despite the excellent infrastructure and reputation of this college in Mumbai, the hostel lacks food facilities and is quite expensive. As a result, students are required to go to the college mess for dinner. Additionally, the college is facing overcrowding issues due to the high number of students.
Faculty: All Engineering colleges in Mumbai suffer from a lack of qualified faculty. With the exception of one faculty member in each branch, the rest are merely there for show and lack proper knowledge of their subjects, especially those who come from an electronics background and are teaching data Science students.
Other: The extracurricular activities are pathetic, the festivals are okay, and the connectivity is good. Apply for the MAHADBT scholarship to receive a 50% tuition discount.

2 years of life at TCT.
Placements: About 30% of the students were placed from my course. The highest package was about 15 Lacs, and the lowest package was about 3 Lacs. The average package was about 5 to 6 Lacs per annum. Companies such as TCS come to this college. A top role such as Marketing is offered by the company.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, and each and every class has AC service as well as an Ethernet connection. Even the reading rooms and libraries have Wi-Fi connections. The canteen is also well maintained, and the food and catering services are also very good.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, and some of them have IIT degrees. Each of the teachers makes their own presentation for every chapter. The curriculum is also very creativity-rich for the companies and for the internship letter provided by the college. The passing percentage of the semester exam is above 90%.
Other: Events are not so great, and the playground facilities are also not so good.

Review of TCET, Kandivali (E).
Placements: Our college has decent placements with average salary packages of about 8 LPA-9 LPA. Recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, Infosys, etc. Mostly 80% of students got placed in the year 2024. Mostly companies are hiring for the role of software design and data analyst. Around 85% of students got placed from our course.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, our college is on average level. It has well-defined libraries with varieties of books by famous authors. Our college has an auditorium, chemistry, physics, workshop, and manufacturing labs with good equipment. Classrooms are good and air-conditioned. The college has a canteen on the ground floor. In our college medical facilities are also available in case of emergency. The college also has indoor games. So overall, the Infrastructure of the college is fine.
Faculty: Faculty members of Thakur College is supportive and provides its own modules to study for exams. Our college is autonomous so exams are conducted by the college itself and it is quite easy. In the first year, we are not definitely ready for the company but in the second year, we start to work on projects and ideas, to be industry-ready.
Other: I chose the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science course because I have already decided to specialize in Tech branches it's in trend as well. The actual industrial knowledge should be included which is required in our jobs. Overall, the crowd is fine. College also facilitates the government scholarship scheme of EBC which includes the criteria of yearly income which should be less than 8 LPA.
