Our college is good for engineering, it is recommended in Mysore.
Placements: Our college is outstanding in terms of placement and training activities. Our college being one of the reputed college in Mysore offers about more than 85 percent of placements every year, a good number recruiting companies visit our campus for recruiting students.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure as it facilitates all the latest facilities in the campus. There are numerous grounds available for sports activities and laboratories are designed using the latest technology for a good practical knowledge attainment for a students. Hostels are very hygienic and well maintained.
Faculty: The faculty members here are very strict and will only help in academic related issues. Although they are well versed in the field of teaching. Our college is an autonomous Institute, conduct exams by itself. Exams here are very strict. The re-examination fee is comparatively high.

I recommend this college.
Placements: Although more than 60% of the students were placed, our batch had the least mass companies placements. In terms of the core companies, civil and industrial production have the fewest placements. However, many IT companies, including many startups, gave students from core companies a chance.
Infrastructure: It is one of the oldest colleges in the country and also the finest. Our civil department had the finest hydraulics lab, concrete and material testing lab, highway laboratory, and CAD lab, among many others. The library offers a wide range of books and has a huge study area too. The digital library offers great resources too.
Faculty: The civil engineering department is the oldest department in the institution, with very experienced professors who support students in exploring their interests. The curriculum is very diverse, gives a good overview of all the subjects, and helps in developing a career.
Other: Technieks is the annual college fest which happens in the month of March. It is a three-day fest which is super fun. The department also has its own fest called Aakar, which happens once every two years. There are many societies that students can take part in. There are multiple organizations where students can volunteer.

Review of The National Institute of Engineering.
Placements: Our college provides few placement opportunities. Placements in the civil branch are not good compared to other branches. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA and the average salary package offered is 2 LPA. Around 50% of students get internships. Placements are not good in the civil branch.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure. Hostels are good. The quality of the food is good. Lab facilities are available. Medical facilities are available. Sports facilities aren't good. All games are available.
Faculty: Our teachers are fair and helpful. The course curriculum is old. It should be updated. The pass percentage is 80%. The teaching quality is good.

A really studious college.
Placements: Well for this course, I don't think you've got a very good placement rates in core. But when it comes to mass recruitment they have a good number of companies. Well L&T Atkins are one of the elite ones in core companies that recruit. You can try also try off campus too.
Infrastructure: The labs are a blessing. The civil department has good labs for almost all your courses. Hostel food is better than an average hostel but there are a lot of alternatives. Hostel is very decent no ragging is done it is well furnished along with Wi-Fi so no issues with hostel.
Faculty: Well that's the best part if you are here to make a career out of engineering then this is the best place for you. You got to study very hard because the evaluation is very strict. It's not easy to pass the exams here you have to be very thorough in the subjects.

I am definitely satisfied with our college.
Placements: Nearly more than 70% of the students were placed in both core and mass recruiting companies like L&T, Atkins, TCS and Sobha Developers from our course. But the number of companies which visit related to our field of study is pretty less compared to other branches. Even the salary package offered is also less. It is not mandatory for students to do internships, etc. But it is a must to do a final year project. Even faculty members of our department suggest us some good organisations for internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our course is almost bad compared to other branches in our college. Our course classroom has old asbestos sheet roofing, and the outer wiring on the walls looks very ugly. Lab instruments used here are completely old and are not at all used nowadays in today's civil engineering works. However, the hostel is well furnished with good furniture, safety measures, CCTV cameras and good food facilities. Sports and games in our college are fine. We are allowed to play both intra-branch and inter-branch competitions and could even represent our university.
Faculty: Faculty members of our department are graduated from NITs and IITs. In our civil engineering, you will surely understand the topics. What really matters is our grasping capacity and practising ability to gain maximum knowledge out of it. The knowledge that we get in our college is not enough to work in industrial services. We need to go out of college and join some construction sites, and then only our knowledge will be useful.
Other: Our college is extremely good compared to other engineering autonomous colleges in our state. There are good placements, good guidelines, advice and suggestions from faculty members, which will really mould us into good in terms of knowledge. But office staff members in our college are completely different from a normal way. They may be admission staff members, the scholarship department, or even the examination department. They don't even know the easy way of conversing with young students. We get very bad and the worst response when we approach them for our queries. They don't even respond to our emails or even phone calls. The scholarship department is really corrupted, and even they are busy with their work. Last year they took nearly 7 months to credit our sanctioned amount.
