    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

    Worth the Investment:

Considering the overall feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of whether pursuing a BE/BTech degree at the University Institute of Technology, Shahdol (Constituent College of RGPV) is worth the investment:

    Pros:

    * Good infrastructure: The college has a new building with modern facilities, making it an attractive option for students seeking a comfortable learning environment.
    * Qualified faculty: Most professors are well-educated, with some having a Master's or Doctoral degree, ensuring that students receive high-quality education.
    * Practical knowledge: While the college lacks hands-on experience, students can gain practical skills through internships, projects, and collaborations with industries.
    * Placements: Although limited, the college has had successful placements, especially in the mining industry, with renowned companies offering competitive packages.
    * Scholarships: Available scholarships can help reduce the financial burden on students.
    * Campus life: Students appreciate the peaceful campus environment and the availability of recreational spaces.

    Cons:

    * Limited placements: Despite efforts by the college, placements remain a challenge, particularly outside the mining industry.
    * Theory-heavy curriculum: The lack of emphasis on practical knowledge might leave students struggling to adapt to real-world situations.
    * Infrastructure limitations: While the new building is modern, the absence of essential amenities like hostels, canteens, and sports facilities can impact student experience.
    * Competition: With more students vying for placements, competition remains fierce, affecting individual performance.

Based on these pros and cons, while the University Institute of Technology, Shahdol (Constituent College of RGPV) offers some benefits, its limitations might outweigh the advantages for some students. It's crucial to weigh the costs against the potential returns and consider factors beyond academic performance when deciding whether to invest in this program.

Keep in mind that every student's experience is unique, and your decision should depend on your individual circumstances and goals.

Absolutely satisfied with the college. All the facilities are available.
Placements: Above 75% students have been placed and they all appear in placements but experience is very important to us. What matters is what how we are going to give the interview. A student's knowledge can only help him/her qualify the interview. Average package goes around 40k per month for this course.
Infrastructure: In our college, library is available and all the books are also available in library. Neat and clean classrooms are available and the facilities are good. A hostel is also available but due to Corona, the hostel has not opened yet. A Mess is also available. Sports and games are played by the students.
Faculty: Some of the teacher teaching quality is good and helpful also. Teachers are qualified but maximum guest teacher are there teaching is good. Not facing that much difficulties in semester exams all good for studying and after exams holidays also there.
Other: This course is the best. The college should have government teachers in the whole premises. Environment of the college should also be improved.

A good college to gain practical knowledge and experience.
Placements: There are fewer chances of placements at our college. The teachers try their level best for it, so that our students can progress. Last year, Reliance came for the placements and their package was 8 LPA but very few students were placed in it.
Infrastructure: The classrooms, labs and libraries are good. Hostel facilities were good before covid but after corona, the conditions have not been improved and hostel has not opened. Students can easily access the Library's books. Hostels should be available as students are facing many difficulties due to daily travel.
Faculty: The teaching quality is okay. The teachers are helpful but strict at times. They have done their M.Tech. Course quality is good. The exams are a little bit difficult. Passing percentage of students is good. Students gain experience through training at various places.
Other: We have opted for this course as we can gain a lot of knowledge as well as experience in different kinds of fields. Little bit of practical knowledge should be increased, students should be able to understand the working of various kinds of machines.

I am satisfied of my decision
Placements: 78% percentage of students were placed form my course and the highest paçkage offered was 17 L P A and minimum was 4 L P A and average package was 8 L P A . Top recuriting companies were TCS , Persistent, Deloitte ,Ernest and Young India , they offered Role of SDE , Asst. Consultant roles .
Infrastructure: Infrastruture of department are pretty good fo lr every branch they got a whole building and library is big full of knowledge. Hostel facilities are not that good as it lacks little perfection of electricity and water ,.mess got the good food with special weekend meal and for sports and games they have sport complex.
Faculty: Yeah teadher and faculties are very qulaified and knowledgeable ,they teach in a manner to level 0 to level 10 it is easier to understand . Course curriculum are very much releveant to industry ready . Semester exams are easier if a student studies in the class maximum 95% is the pass percentage.
Other: Events ,fest ,campus crowd all other extra curriculum activities occurs during your semester as it provide a platform to showcase your talent so must participate in it

Best faculty and next-level surrounding environment.
Placements: Recording the placement of students. Some nearby companies visit our college and the main placement of students is around 25 % or less than the department or system of placement in our college is average or medium. But best for in our local area or here local students.
Infrastructure: The quality of infrastructure in our college is excellent because it is a new building and shift to a new place college and running around 3 to 4 years on this building the new building in the new place starts after covid-19. So it is a best in all point of view.
Faculty: Here the faculty are the best and their knowledge is next level here faculty are well qualified and the method of study applied for faculty in students is best and all faculty focused on an understanding of a concept, not a force fully learning for a college exam. So here faculty are best.
Other: The environment and campus surroundings are best because the college is placed in rural areas.

It has good infrastructure, good facilities, and good discipline.
Placements: There are no placements in Shahdol, but the teachers are trying to make sure that there should be a placement.
Infrastructure: It has good infrastructure and a hostel. The hostel was good, but now it is closed because of COVID.
Faculty: We have good faculty but the course is not completed. The exam was conducted well. We are happy with the exam, but the boot course is not complete. About 70% is complete.
    Other: Scholarships are available.

I am not satisfied because of its placements.
Placements: Since this college's new campus opened after the pandemic still there is no campus placements offered. Many students from the mining branch cracked GATE and get reputed IIT for M. Tech.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent in this college. There is no basketball court, and the playground is small. The hostel and canteen are not provided.
Faculty: Faculty members are decent, and marks are not given free by them. Students will perform in the exam and the results students will get in the academics. There is less practical knowledge in this college because of not utilization of laboratory by teachers, and just theoretical knowledge is given which is not up to the mark to pass exams.
Other: There are less cultural activities, but recently fest name UIT Utsav 2022 is conducted.
