Our college placed 89% students successfully in 2021.
Placements: This year, the placement status is remarkable. According to the stats, 89% of the students got selected for jobs. The highest salary package offered is 16 LPA to 19 LPA. The lowest is around 4 LPA, and the average is around 6 LPA. TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Yamaha Motors, Hindustan Computer, Byjus, etc., were the leading recruiters. Majority of the students are pursuing their internships from various software companies as well as from international organisations like International MUN including me.
Infrastructure: Laboratories are well-equipped, and Wi-Fi is stable. Classrooms are pretty good. Library has a wide range of study materials useful for both course materials as well as competitive examinations. One of two 1st year hostels is good but another one isn't. Senior hostels look good. As we are still studying remotely online, so not completely sure about the exact status of senior hostels. The quality of canteen food is terrible. Food is a serious issue there. University provides its own medical facilities. Faculty members, students also arrange various cultural, sports, and educational events, seminars, etc.
Faculty: The majority of the professors are good. They are experienced and ready to assist students anytime. They tried their level best to equip us efficiently with necessary knowledge even in this pandemic situation, during online sessions. AEIE curriculum is interesting to learn. It is a hybrid of electrical, electronics, and instrumentation which makes this course extremely relevant for today's industries. The 'difficulty' is a relative term. I find exams pretty good which cover the whole field of the syllabus. The pass percentage is above 35% approximately.
Other: I wish to see a bit more discipline in our institution, as during these 2 long years of online study, I feel a lack of it. However, helpful teachers, their guidance, and interesting course make everything enjoyable.

This is a good college and the faculty is very good.
Placements: 75% of the students were placed. The average package is Rs 4.50 l to 14 Lacs. TCS, Software Company, Flipkart, etc.
Infrastructure: Yes, the wi-fi is available and the quality of facilities in my hostel is good. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is also good. Medical facilities are not available in college and sports and games are also held.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good. Yes, this college makes the students industry ready for jobs.
Other: Because this course is best for me and I am interested in this course also.

It is a wonderful campus with helpful faculty members, good library and labs.
Placements: As per the previous year, around 40%-45% of the students got placed in many reputed companies from our college. I don't know exactly about the highest and the lowest salary packages offered in our batch. However, in the entire college, overall, the highest salary package offered was 8 LPA. But I am not sure whether it is offered in on-campus or off-campus placements as the information was not published. The lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Many of the students from our branch joined IT companies like TCS, Infosys, etc. I am not sure about the internships. Many of the students qualified in the GATE exam and now studying in IITs.
Infrastructure: As I have just entered 2nd year, I don't know properly about the labs. However, from outside, labs are surely good. There is also a modern language lab initiated by IIT KGP. Our senior hostels have 24 hours of Wi-Fi facility, but 1st-year hostels don't have Wi-Fi facility. First-year boys hostel is separated from senior hostels. The 1st-year hostel is good and maintained regularly. Classrooms are quite decent, and the library is very good. There is a huge volume of books and journals. The quality of the food served in the canteen is not very good. However, students can have food in Burdwan University canteen, where the food is very inexpensive and lovely. Students can get medical facilities from the university physician. Our university has its cricket, football and basketball team and participates in many competitions.
Faculty: Teachers here are very good. They are very friendly and helpful. Most of our professors are well educated and have a good amount of teaching experience. Majority of the teachers are young. I have learned the course curriculum and find it interesting. But only the course curriculum can't make students industry-ready, and students also need to develop some additional skills in order to become industry-ready.
Other: I like electronics, so I have chosen this course.

Absolutely not dissatisfied but little bit improvement in our college. Overall college is good.
Placements: Lots of students are placed in our college. 80-85% of students were placed in CSE & other branch many of the students were also placed. This year some of the companies in which students of the college have secured placements are TCS, Wipro, Infotech, IBM, Pinnacle, Code-bita, Mind tree, CTS. Indusnet & through AMCAT so many companies were available. These companies were mainly offered an average salary of 5-6 LPA. The highest salary was 7 LPA, the lowest salary was 3.5 LPA. In our course AEIE, one company came that was paranoid Richard & they offered 7 LPA. But all branches were allowed in IT sector companies. 70- 75% of students got an internship from our course. We mainly got the internship in BSNL, Ranchi rail station, powerplant field, etc.
Infrastructure: So, many facilities and infrastructure are available for our course/department. We have many classrooms, libraries, labs. In our library 30,000 books are available. In the laboratory all the instruments are available but they are old. Wi-Fi is also available in college, canteen & campus. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is all over good. Light, fan, water are available. The quality of food in the canteen is also good. But sometimes they can't serve a good quality of food. In our canteen lots of dry food are available. Medical facilities, sports, and games are also available. We organized sports and games in our hostel in winter. So, it is pretty much entertainment and good for health, mind.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful & knowledgeable. All our teachers are qualified with higher education and degree. Their teaching quality is good. Our teachers are very intelligent and know well how to draw the attention of students towards study. Our teachers have lots of patience. They know what is good for us.
Other: I choose this course because I know about electrical and communication branch. And I do not get a chance to get admission in these particular branches. So, I saw that in this branch we have got electronics and a new topic of instrumentation. I am excited and interested to know about these topics or subjects. That's why I choose this course. Some improvements are also necessary.

Good infrastructure but the worst campus placement state.
Placements: 20 percent student got placement through off campus placement process till date. The main field for our core job are in plants, like steel plants, oil refineries. 3.5 to 4 LPA average salary they will get through that job, the companies are, TCS, CTS, INFOSYS. Very few got internship.
Infrastructure: Labs are there for every particular subject, classroom is in well furnished way. The hostel facilities are satisfactory, but the mess food quality is very poor. Medical facility is not in an official way but can get help when its needed. Every year there is a sports week in the hostel compound.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified in their subject. Teaching quality is good, but as we all know after getting any kind of knowledge by the teacher we have to give our best effort to get deep knowledge. As we will go for the core company it will help, other than that, as the modern era requirements are there, there are not much opportunities in our core company so we automatically go for the IT sector, but as the subjects for that Field is not in a proper way in our course, we feel a lack of it.
