University of Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) is about 100 year old and was established in 1917, under the name "Government Engineering College", by Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya. It is the 5th engineering college to be established in india and first in Karnataka. UVCE is one of the few technical institutions in the country that has achieved with the status of a university and neck on the lines of IITs. It is one of the oldest technical institutions in india, which provides technical courses like B.Tech., B.Arch., M.Tech., M.Arch. and PhD degrees in the various disciplines of Engineering and Architecture.

The college is AICTE approved.

On the other hand, Aditya Institute of Technology (AIT), Delhi is a Polytechnic (diploma) college founded in 1995. It's placement probability is somewhat around 60 percent only which is not a good one at all.

Conclusion : for a B.Tech course, Visvesvaraya College of Engineering is best.

Our college is good to join we have good placements but you should put self effort.
Placements: We are pursuing 2nd year engineering we still didn't go through any placements but we had an internship after 1st year which was excellent and they taught us soft skills and aptitude during placements and our department is computer Science department we 3 branches included in same department in which good placements will happen in ise it is 100 percent placement from last few years whereas in case it's above 90 our branch will get placed in this year.
Infrastructure: We don't have vast campus infrastructure is not so good and but the location vice it's very good it's in centre of the city which is nearby and walkable to major points at the city and inside the college classrooms are not so clean and we have less number of classroom but they are building a new building now.
Faculty: Faculty are not so good some may teach you nicely and some may not but our course is the best course which is autonomous and best suited for industry in nowadays it's a bit harder then vtu but still it's good and the exams will tough it will be unpredictable .
Other: We have excellent campus and crowd we can claims government scholarships and they do many fests in our college and also there are many clubs in our college which are technical cultural and many .
