Really have nice enjoyment here.
Placements: Nearly 80 percent of students get placed; the highest package is nearly 41 LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA as per last year's data. TCS, Wipro, Nvidia, etc. are the top recruiters. All students try to take internships in nice companies, but due to many tech events occurring here, many companies give direct internships to some students.
Infrastructure: Nice faculty, good infrastructure, greenery everywhere, Wi-Fi is everywhere, and canteens are also good but not for meals. Libraries are less with many technologies like high-speed Wi-Fi, RFID systems to take books, headphones, etc. Sports and games events are also there and Gandharva is the main annual event.
Faculty: The faculty is nice, supportive, very strict, and active in terms of placement. The curriculum is also updated, but many courses per semester students have to face with no study gap in between two papers; exams are conducted with a full set of cameras and invigilators with no regrets.
Other: Overall, a good college, but if you have more potential to score high, then definitely prefer other high placement records colleges too.

Good facilities and a college worth the money, but a lot of crowd.
Placements: A decent number of students are placed in my branch with good packages. Many companies visit VIIT, making the college's placement ratio high. Some of the top companies visiting our college are J.P. Morgan, Amazon, and Case, which offer very high packages. Companies also visit for internships and PPOs.
Infrastructure: All college buildings have Wi-Fi installed, along with projectors in the classrooms. There are proper computer labs. The college has its own hostel with decent facilities, including a mess and some sports equipment inside the hostel.
Faculty: The college faculty is very helpful, especially when it comes to assisting with projects, which helps build your resume and gain more knowledge. The college is autonomous and has its own curriculum. Exams are not too difficult and can be passed with ease. The passing percentage is around 40%, and internals can help you achieve that.
Other: I was specifically looking for software-related branches, and this was the best college available for my percentile, so I chose this course. The college also conducts events, with a major one called Gandharva.

VIIT COLLEGE PUNE LIFESTYLE
Placements: Placements are low as compared to last year, this year 60-70% students are placed. Top Package from IT goes to 17 lakh, average package 6-7 lakhs, many students are going for M.Tech, UPSC, MPSC and higher qualification. Overall placement is okay okay not bad.
Infrastructure: There are labs related to DSA, project lab. Library is good there is wifi connection but it dont work many times, clg hostel is good but it is too costly and far from college. Food quality and ambience of canteen is not that much good it should be improved.
Faculty: Teachers, HOD are best for Information Technology department. Course structure is also set good and as it is autonomous college syallbus is coreectly set that should help students in practical life, theory knowledge is less as compare to practical knowledge. Sem exams are easy to pass if you study min 1 hr a day.

The college life review of VIIT.
Placements: The college provides a good culture for placement opportunities with companies for all branches. Some recruiters are NVidia, BlackRock, Colgate, Morgan Stanley, etc. There is a good percentage of internship students, with almost 50–60%. There are many roles provided by recruiters like software engineer, salesperson, management, etc.
Infrastructure: The Department of Computer Science offers: Wi-Fi: high-speed internet throughout the department. Labs: modern computer labs with the latest technology. Classrooms: smart classrooms with multimedia projectors. Library: an extensive collection of books, journals, and digital resources. Quality of Facilities: clean, well-maintained rooms and common areas. Food: nutritious and varied meals in the mess; affordable canteen options.
Faculty: Faculty: The teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is generally high, with a focus on both theoretical and practical aspects. Curriculum: The curriculum is relevant and designed to make students industry-ready, incorporating the latest trends and technologies. Exams: Semester exams are moderately difficult, with a fair assessment of student knowledge. The pass percentage is generally high, reflecting effective teaching and support systems.
Other: Batch: 2021-2025. Course: Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science. Why I Chose This Course chose the Computer Science course at Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, Pune, because of its strong reputation, comprehensive curriculum, and excellent faculty. The course offers a perfect blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, which is crucial for a career in the teaching industry. Best Things About the Course Industry Relevant Curriculum: The course content is updated regularly to include the latest trends and technologies. This is the inside experience of Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology.
Placements: The college is located in the Kondwa area, which is slightly negative for the college's reputation. My current course is B.Tech in Information Technology. My batch consists of 75 students. Approximately 60-70% of students are placed. The highest package offered was 49 LPA by Nvidia, while the lowest was 3-4 LPA. The average package is 7-8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Nvidia, HCL, TCS, Infosys, and Goldman Sachs, among others. 50-70% of students have secured internships with top recruiters like PayPal, Zomato, Oyo, TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant. The top roles offered in the course include frontend developer, backend developer, cybersecurity specialist, data analyst, web developer, and game developer.
Infrastructure: The faculty members are well-qualified and experienced, and they are cooperative. The college infrastructure is well-arranged, and the labs in our department are well-managed. The classrooms are equipped with projectors and computers for digital PPT explanations. The teaching ecosystem is one of the best. Faculty members have more than 8-10 years of experience.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified; they assist students with internships and extra skill development. They provide proper guidance and a roadmap to achieve targets. The teaching quality is also easy to understand. The teaching ecosystem focuses entirely on industry-specific programming. The difficulty level of examinations is moderate.
Other: Currently, the field of computer engineering and information technology is at its peak, with increasing job opportunities, which is why I opted for this course. The best aspect of information technology is its interesting programming subjects. The annual function, known as Gandharva, is held between January and February.

Q:   Is VIIT Pune Tier 1 or tier 2?

A:

Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology (VIIT) in Pune is generally considered a Tier 2 engineering college in India. Tier classification of engineering colleges in India is often based on various factors including academic reputation, infrastructure, faculty quality, research output, and placement opportunities.

While VIIT Pune is well-regarded for its engineering programs and has a good reputation within the region, it may not be classified as a Tier 1 engineering college by some rankings or criteria. Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
