Review ENTC Department VIIT.
Placements: In our ENTC program, nearly 80% of students secure placements in their final year. Philips offers the highest package of 14 LPA, with an average package of 5 LPA. Top companies like TATA Communication, Atlas Copco, TATA Power, YAZAKI, and others visit for campus placements. Moreover, around 80-90% of students secure internships in their final year as part of their academic requirements.
Infrastructure: The college campus is equipped with Wi-Fi coverage throughout. The labs are fully equipped with experiential setups. The classrooms are tidy and well-maintained, furnished with projectors and benches. A well-stocked library is available for students. The hostel facility is of good quality. The mess provides hygienic and tasty food. The college also offers comprehensive medical and sports facilities.
Faculty: The college instructors are extremely supportive. Each faculty member holds a Master of Teaching or Ph.D. degree and possesses extensive years of experience. The standard of teaching is commendable. The curriculum is tailored to meet industry standards, ensuring that students are well-prepared for the workforce. The exam difficulty ranges from easy to moderate.
Other: My passion for electronics has led me to pursue a B.Tech in this field. The program is well-structured and offers valuable knowledge. VIIT organizes various events and festivals on campus, with Gandhrava being the annual highlight. The campus boasts a pleasant environment, and scholarships are provided for eligible candidates from reserved categories.

Extremely good autonomous institute. Good management and very good faculty members.
Placements: There are very few students from my department and my batch has placements. A lot of students are struggling to get placements. Companies coming for placement are offering a maximum of 6 to 7 LPA, while others are offering only 3 LPA to 5 LPA. Companies for ENTC are Sedemac, Cognex, Virtusa, Tata Communication, Intangles, and Micron Semiconductors. The general role is that of an associate engineer or graduate engineering trainer.
Infrastructure: The college provides food facilities as compared with other places. It includes a vast collection of libraries, computer labs, hardware labs, Wi-Fi and Ethernet, as well as hygienic bathrooms, washrooms and floors. Hostels are very expensive and do not provide facilities either. Students generally eat in the canteen or outside. There are sports and games also in college, like atheletics, cricket, and volleyball, being played on college grounds.
Faculty: Faculty members are extremely well qualified and have received various honors and awards for their research papers, for their parents, and for their projects. The course curriculum is relevant, and all the subjects are related to industry requirements. Interviews ask all the questions related to the syllabus. Exams are not difficult at all and can be easily passed by reading the teacher's notes.

Review of Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology.
Placements: From this year, the 2024 batch, only 42 percent of students have been placed, and 22 percent of them have received full-time job offers. The highest package is 6.67 LPA offered by Harman, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Companies like Harman, Tata Communication, Sedmac Mechatronics, and Cognex come for campus placements, specifically for the ENTC department. Most students get job offers for GET or R&D roles.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure facilities provided by the institute are good. They always give priority to student facilities. The college has installed Wi-Fi and Ethernet connections in each department building. All classrooms have projectors for presentations, and students are allowed to carry mobile phones for technical purposes. College hostels are not recommended as they are expensive and away from the college.
Faculty: Professors are very professional; they always focus on subject understanding, project-based learning, and research projects. They always help students during lectures and practical labs. The course curriculum is relevant and designed with the help of industry experts, so students get an idea about industry exposure. For passing exams, students need to study at least the last year's question paper.
Other: I chose this course because I have always been passionate about analog electronics and embedded systems. For this purpose, I chose the ENTC course. Recently, the college annual fest, Gandharva, was arranged in mid-February for five days. It was very delightful for students.

The college placements are good.
Placements: In this course near about 70 to 80 percent of students get placed in the final year. The course has the highest package of 14 LPA offered by Philips an average package of 4 LPA and the lowest package of 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Syngenta, Oracle, Philips, Whirpool, Atlas Copco, Tata Communications etc. Came for campus placements. 80 to 90 percent of students get internships in the final year in the companies like Sury Logistics, SGS LTD, etc.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is present in the department. In the college, we can all online and offline resources of study material. The classrooms are neat and clean. The Quality of facilities in the hostel is very good. The food quality is well-hygienic and tasty. Sports and games were conducted at the intercollegiate level and outer collegiate level too.
Faculty: The teachers of the course are very helpful and they are qualified from reputed universities. Teachers are very knowledgeable and they encourage students to work on research papers, copyrights, patents etc. The course curriculum is industry-relevant and it get also helps students to place easily in the industry. This college is very good for placement and I would suggest the ENTC branch for this college.
Placements: Every year, more than 80% students gets placed. The highest package is 40 LPA, the lowest is 2.5 LPA, and the average package is 7 LPA. Top companies that recruit every year include Nvidia, LTI, JP Morgan, Samsung and many more. Almost every student who is interested in an internship, gets one.
Infrastructure: College somewhere lacks infrastructure; it is very small but other things like labs and classrooms are enough for our needs. The library is well maintained. Other facilities, like sports, canteens and medical centers, are average. Wi-Fi is available any time in campus area.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable; they always help students. The college faculty is always ready to give mentorship to students. I personally got a lot of help from my teachers. The college curriculum is advanced and useful in industry. Semester exams are difficult for some subjects, and they may require more study time than usual.
Other: Overall, the course is very nice and advanced as per industry needs, but some courses are very hard, and you have to give more time to that course than other courses.

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced.
