IIT Bombay will conduct the UCEED 2024 exam on January 21, 2024 (9 am - 12 noon). On the day of the exam, the candidate needs to report to the exam center at 7 am. Note that latecomers may not be allowed inside the exam center. Even inside the UCEED 2024 exam center, the candidate has to maintain certain exam-day guidelines. Any candidate found in violation of these rules, for instance indulging in cheating or bringing barred items inside the exam hall, may be disqualified.

Q: What is the validity of the UCEED 2025 scorecard?
The UCEED 2025 scorecard will be valid for a period of one year from the date of its release. The scorecard will be available for downloaded from March 10, 2025 onward.
The scorecard will contain the Part A marks for all candidates who appeared in the UCEED 2025 entrance exam. However, Part B, total marks, and merit ranks will be released only for candidates who qualify Part A.
Using the UCEED scorecard, the candidate can get admission to B. Des programme offered by participating and result-sharing institutions.
Q: When will the UCEED 2025 exam be conducted?
IIT Bombay will conduct the UCEED 2025 exam on January 19, 2025 (9 am - 12 noon). The exam will have two mandatory parts. The computer-based Part A and offline-based Part B.
The UCEED 2025 admission portal is uceed.iitb.ac.in. The portal will contain all the important updates about the UCEED 2025 exam, including information brochure, eligibility criteria, syllabus, candidate portal, and useful resources.
Among resources the candidate can download include - previous years question and answer keys.
The online application forms for UCEED 2025 are open from October 1-31, 2024. With late fees, applications will be accepted till November 8, 2024.

UCEED 2024 exam day guidelines
The detailed guidelines that candidates need to follow on NIFT 2024 exam day are given below.
Q: At what time will the UCEED 2025 exam commence?
The UCEED 2025 exam will be held tentatively in the 3rd week of January 2025, from 9 am - 12 noon.
The exam date and timings will be mentioned on the UCEED 2025 admit card. On the day of the exam, the candidate needs to report at the exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned in the admit card.
Note that late comers may not be allowed entry inside the exam centre.
The candidate is also urged to carefully go through all the exam-day guidelines for a smooth exam-day experience.
Q: Will there be a baggage counter at UCEED 2025 exam centre?
IIT Bombay usually doesn't make any arrangements like baggage counters. So, it is a good idea for candidates not be bring any unnecessary stuff with them to the exam centre. Also, if the candidate has any doubts, he or she must go through the exam-day guidelines published by exam officials to check if any special arrangements are being made. Since it is unlikely that there will be a baggage counter, the candidate can not afford to bring valuable items and leave it unattended outside the exam hall. It is because if any valuable item is lost, IIT Bombay will not take any responsibility.
Q: Can I come out of the UCEED 2024 exam centre before the final bell rings?
As per instructions given on the admission portal, the candidate is not allowed to leave the exam hall until the exam is over. So, if you are planning to leave the exam hall even before the exam is over, you need to junk them now. The UCEED 2024 exam will be conducted from 9 am - 12 noon (tentative). Once the exam gets over, the invigilator will collect the answer sheets and compete any other formalities that may be there. Once the process is over, the candidate can come out of the exam hall.
Q: How will the identity of the candidate be verified at UCEED 2024 exam centre?
On the day of the UCEED 2024 exam, the candidate has to carry with him the admit card and a photo id proof. These documents will be used to verify the identity of the candidate. Note that both the invigilators as well as IIT representatives will be available at the exam centre to verify the identity. Any candidate who fails the identification process may not be allowed to sit in the exam. That being said exam authorities have the discretion to permit the candidate to appear for the examination after completing certain formalities. However, in such a scenario the candidate will not be allocated additional time.
Q: What happens if someone impersonates another candidate in UCEED 2024?
Impersonation in the UCEED 2024 exam is not allowed. Any candidate who is found indulging in such activities will be disqualfiied. Further, criminal proceeding may also be brought against such candidates. So it is advised that candidates follow the guidelines issued by IIT Bombay for appearing in the exam. Note that in addition to impersonation, activities like cheating, disturbing other candidates during the exam, etc. Are also not allowed.
- Exam date and timings - January 21, 2024 (9 am - 12 noon)
- Reporting time: The candidate must report at the exam center at 7 am.
- Document checklist - The candidate needs to bring with them 1) a valid photo ID proof in the original, and 2) NIFT 2024 admit card.
- Please note digital admit cards won’t be accepted.
- Drawing Material - The candidate is only allowed to bring drawing pencils in a transparent packet. Sketch pens, colored pencils, poster colors, and other coloring materials are NOT permitted inside the UCEED 2024 exam hall.
- Verification of candidate’s identity - The identity of the candidate will be verified by both invigilators and IIT representatives. If the identity of a candidate is in doubt, he or she may not be allowed to take the UCEED 2024 exam. However, the authorities also have the secretion to permit the candidate to appear for the exam after completing certain formalities. Note that no extra time will be allowed for the candidate to complete the exam as compensation for the time taken to complete these formalities. Further, the candidature of candidates with doubtful identities will be subject to the decision of the UCI Committee, which will be final and binding.
- Impersonation and use of unfair - Such activities will be considered a serious offense that will lead to the immediate disqualification of the candidate from UCEED. Criminal proceedings may also be leveled against the candidate.
- Barred items - The candidates is NOT allowed to carry any electronic devices (mobile phones, smartphones, watches of any type, calculators, tablets, and the like), abacus, slide rule, log books, study material of any type, geometry box, and so on to the examination hall.
- Leaving the exam hall - You have to remain in the exam for the entire duration of the exam.
- Will there be a toilet break? - There is no mention of any TOLET break in the UCEED exam guidelines. So, you must come prepared in case there are no breaks during the exam.
- Technical issues faced during the CBT exam - Part A of UCEED 2024 exam will be a computer-based test. In the event of any technical problems, the candidate must approach the invigilator for assistance. Exam officials will take immediate steps to remedy the problem or assign a different computer terminal if required. The candidate will also get the complete allotted time to attempt their paper even in the event of any technical problem, and the time lost due to technical problems will be adjusted automatically in the server.
- COVID-19 guidelines - Any updates related to COVID-19 will be updated on the UCEED exam portal before the exam.
- Attempting the UCEED 2024 question paper - The UCEED 2024 exam has two parts - Part A and Part B. As per the official UCEED 2024 exam pattern, there is a negative marking in Part A; so you need to be judicious when attempting a question.

IIT Bombay will relese the updated list of UCEED 2024 exam centres through the information brochure. Note that in the previous edition, the UCEED exam was held in 24 cities in India. Here is the list of exam cities: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Ernakulum, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, and Visakhapatnam. Note that each of the each city could have one or more exam centres. The allotment of exam centres would be done based on the exam city selected by the candidate, address, and total applicants.
