IIT Bombay will conduct the UCEED 2025 exam on January 19, 2025 (9 am - 12 noon). The candidate must report to the UCEED 2025 exam center at 7 am. The reporting time will be mentioned on the UCEED 2025 admit card. On the day of the exam, bring the admit card and a photo ID proof. Note that without these documents, the candidate will not be allowed inside the UCEED 2025 exam center. Also, exam officials will not make provisions for a baggage counter. This means exam officials will not take any responsibility for any items damaged or lost. So, bring only the essential items to the exam center. IIT Bombay has released the UCEED 2025 exam-guidelines that candidates must follow when appearing in the exam. Candidates need to stick to the UCEED 2025 exam guidelines for a smooth UCEED 2025 exam-day experience. On UCEED 2025 exam day, the candidate must be able to fully concentrate on the exam rather than get distracted by trivialities.

IIT Bombay will release the admit card of UCEED 2025 on January 3. The admit card will be released online at the UCEED 2025 admission portal. The candidate needs to download the admit card using their email ID and password. It is recommended that the candidate downloads the admit card

Q: When will the UCEED 2025 exam be conducted?
IIT Bombay will conduct the UCEED 2025 exam on January 19, 2025 (9 am - 12 noon).
IIT Bombay has released the detailed admission schedule, including exam dates and application process.
The exam will be conducted in 27 cities aross India. Part A will be offline-based, while Part B will be conducted offline.
The application form commences on October 1, 2024.
Q: When will IIT Bombay release UCEED 2025 exam center list?
IIT Bombay will release the list of exam centres for UCEED 2025 sometime in September 2024. Note that IIT Bombay will only release the list of exam cities. The name of the exam UCEED 2025 centre allocated to be candidate will be mentioned on the admit card. The candidate can check the list of exam cities in the information brochure. In the previous edition of UCEED the exam was administered in 27 cities across India. The candidate had to select their choice of exam city at the time of filling out the application form.
The UCEED 2025 exam is conducted by IIT Bombay to offer admission to the B.Des program offered by participating institutes of UCEED 2025. Currently, these institutes offer a combined intake of 225 seats. Seat allotment will be based on UCEED 2025 merit rank.

Document checklist:
Candidate needs to bring the following items with them on the day of the UCEED 2025 exam.
- UCEED 2025 admit card
- A valid photo ID proof in the original.
Note that no candidate will be allowed entry inside the exam hall without these documents.
Collection of biometric information and verification of the candidate
Exam officials will also collect biometric information (thumb impression and photograph) of the candidate before the examination.
Invigilators as well as IIT representatives present at the exam center will verify the identity of the candidate. In case there is a question mark over the candidate’s identity, he or she may not be allowed to sit in the UCEED 2025 exam.
Q: What skills do I need to have for UCEED 2025?
To do well in UCEED 2025 exam, improve these skills: Improve your drawing skills - Practice free-hand drawing. Use 2 grades of pencil - H-grade to do rough work and B to do quick sketch and shading. Work on improving your creativity and be innovative Solve previous years question papers to improve problem-solving and time-management skills. Understand the basic concept of drawing, and learn various forms of drawing - composition, proportion, line drawing, etc. Taking mock tests will help the candidate get an idea as to how much time it takes to solve a section or question.
Q: What time do I need to report at UCEED 2025 exam center?
The UCEED 2024 exam will be conducted for a duration of 3 hours, tentatively from 9 am - 12 noon.
On the day of the exam, the candidate needs to report at the exam centre at least 2 hours before exam commences. So, ideally, the candidate will have to report at 7 am. Note that no candidate will be allowed entry inside the exam hall once the exam commences. So, the candidate must be punctual about reaching the UCEED 2025 exam venue.
Q: Can the candidate bring their own scribes to UCEED exam centre?
The candidate is not allowed to select their own scribes for UCEED 2025 exam. Instead, the exam conducting body will arrange for a panel of scribes. The panel will be prepared in coordination with the test centre administrator (TCA) of the examination centre.
The candidate has to select a scribe from the given list.
Q: What is the step-wise UCEED 2025 counseling process?
The 1st step of UCEED 2025 counseling is online registration.
The counseling registration process for UCEED 2025 will be conducted starting the 2nd week of March 2025. Candidates who have qualified in the entrance exam and have been assigned a merit rank in UCEED 2024 were eligible to participate in the counseling process.
The 2nd step is selection of campuses.
Eligible candidates had to register for counseling and select their choice of colleges in the order of priority at the time of registration.
In the 3rd step, seat allotment is made.
The allotment of seats is as per the merit rank of the candidate in UCEED 2025 and choices selected. Post the allotment of seats, the candidate have to pay the sea-acceptance fee and confirm their admission.
Q: When will UCEED seat allotment release for Round I?
The admission cut-off for UCEED 2025 will be released on April 21, 2025.
The seat allotment will be released online at the UCEED 2025 - IIT Bombay admission portal uceed.iitb.ac.in.
To download the seat allotment-cum-cutoff, you need to click on the seat allotment download button given under B. Des 1st Round of Seat Allotment heading. Note that no log-in is required to download the seat allotment results pdf.
Candidates who are allotted seats have to accept the seat and pay the fees. Note that candidates were also given the option to withdraw their seats.
Exam officials in such cases may also allow the candidate to appear in the exam after completing certain formalities.
However, the candidate in such cases will be allowed any extra time to complete the exam to make up for time lost in the identity verification process.
Also, the final decision on doubtful candidates will be taken by the UCI Committee, which will be final and binding.
Use of unfair means inside the UCEED 2025 exam hall
Candidates found Impersonating and/or using any unfair means in the UCEED 2023 exam will not only be disqualified but also criminal proceedings may be initiated against such candidates.

UCEED 2025 - General Exam-day Instructions
- Leaving the exam hall: The candidate has to remain inside the UCEED 2025 examination hall for the entire duration of the examination.
- Tecnical issue during the exam - Part - A of the UCEED 2025 examination will be conducted as a computer-based test. In there is a technical problem, the candidate must approach the invigilator for assistance. The technical team will either resolve the issue or assign a different computer terminal to the candidate. Further, time lost in case of any technical problem will be compensated (or adjusted) automatically in the server.

Exam officials will not make any arrangements for stationery items for appearing in the exam. So, it is the sole responsibility of the candidate to bring the necessary stationery. Here are the basic stationery one needs to take the UCEED 2025 exam: pens, pencils, sketch pens and colours for the examination. The candidate, however, mustnt bring any drawing sheets with them to the exam hall. It is recommended that the candidate carefully goes through the list of allowed and barred items before arriving at the UCEED 2025 exam centre.
