The eligibility criteria may differ depending on the course opted by the candidate. For instance, candidates seeking admission to the B. Des course needs to have passed 10+2 exam from a recognised institute and should be less than 24 years as of August 1, 2025. No, you cannot apply for BSc in Fashion Design course after completing Class 10. That is because to pursue BSc in Fashion Design you should have completed Class 12 or an equivalent qualification. However, if you wish to pursue a career in Fashion Design, you can do that in two ways:

  • Pursue a Diploma in Fashion Design after completing Class 10. After completing the course you can apply for BSc in Fashion Design.

Q:   What will be the pattern for NID DAT Prelims?

A:

The NID DAT 2025 (Prelims) exam will be conducted on January 5, 2024. 

As per the official pattern, the DAT Prelims exam wil be conducted offline and will be of 3 hours duration. The test will be conducted in English language and include a maximum of 26 questions. The question paper will include both subjective and objective-type questions. The paper will be for 100 marks. Candidate who qualify in DAT Prelims have to next appear in DAT Mains.

The candidate needs to consult the exam pattern along with the syllabus to prepare for the NID that exam. Note that the National Institute of Design also has the authority to make changes to the exam pattern.

Q:   What types of questions will be asked in UCEED 2025?

A:

The UCEED exam will have two parts - Part A and Part B. Part A will include Numerical Answer Type NAT Multiple Select Question (MSQ), Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Meanwhile, Part B will include drawing and aptitude-based questions. Note that in the previous edition of the exam, Part B include only sketching-based question. So, starting UCEED 2024, the candidate also needs to prepare for aptitude based questions that will be asked in Part B. Questions for the aptitude section will evaluate the ability of the candidate to practically and appropriately respond to problems/situations with ingenuity and empathy.

Q:   Is LPU-NEST a tough exam?

LPU NEST exam is not tough or easy, but no need to worry. The syllabus is almost related to the previous qualification. All the information related to the syllabus, question paper pattern and sample question paper can be easily downloaded from the NEST website. It will help you to prepare much better for the exam. LPU NEST Exam is a National Entrance & Scholarship Test which is conducted by the renowned Lovely Professional University.
