Documents Required for JEE Advanced Registration for Foreign National Candidates
The foreign nationals applying for JEE Advanced must keep the following documents ready when filling out the JEE Advanced application form:
- Birth certificate or class 10 certificate for age proof.
- Class XII (or equivalent examination) certificate {for those who appeared first time for this examination in 2024 or 2025 or whose Board declared the Class XII (or equivalent examination) result of academic session 2022-23 on or after June 28, 2023}. If the marksheet of Class XII (or equivalent examination) for 2025 is available, then it must be uploaded.
- If the candidate’s name is not the same as in the Class X certificate, a gazette notification showing the change of name

The Joint Entrance Examination-Advanced 2025 application form will be out in April 23, 2025. Only those Indian candidates who secure JEE Main 2025 rank among the top 2.5 lakh candidates become eligible to fill the JEE Advanced application form. The application process is online and the form is available only on the official website. As the first step, every student needs to register through the official website by providing their JEE Main 2025 roll number, password, and security pin. As the second step, students have to enter various personal details like their name, parents’ name, communication details, address details etc. in the specific columns of JEE Advanced 2025 application form. The details entered in the application form must be accurate as the incorrect details may lead to the cancellation of candidature at later stages. Students will also need to enter their choices of exam centres while filling out the application form. Apart from the details, students will also need to upload scanned images of their passport-size photographs and signature. After submitting all the details, students must take multiple printouts of the final application form for future requirements

Yes, if you have qualified for JEE Advanced 2025 or JEE Main 2025 and want to secure admission to the participating institutions (IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs), it is mandatory to register for JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling. JoSAA is responsible for the centralised counselling and seat allocation process for all the participating institutes based on the rank obtained by the candidates in JEE Advanced 2025 or JEE Main 2025. The entire admission process, including the allocation of seats, acceptance of seats, and reporting to the allotted institute, is done through JoSAA.
