A:

GATE 2025 will be conducted by IIT Roorkee. IIT Roorkee has released the exam dates also, GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on 1, 2, 15 and 16 February 2025. GATE is organised by 8 institutes including 7 IITs and IISc Bengaluru.

EDCIL GATE Recruitment Application Form

The EDCIL application form will be available online at the official website, www.edcilindia.co.in. In the application form, candidates have to fill out details such as personal details, GATE details, academic details, and Address details. After completing the formalities of filling out details, candidates have to upload a photo and signature and then pay the prescribed fee. The application fee can be paid through debit card/ credit card/ net banking. No offline application form submission is accepted. 

Selection Procedure of EDCIL Recruitment 2025 through GATE

Candidates will be shortlisted for the competitive examination based on the marks obtained in the GATE result, followed by an interview process. The selected candidates will then appear in the examination, and after qualifying for the exam, they will be called to appear in the interview and document verification process. 

Q:   Can I change the GATE 2025 exam centre?

A:

Q:   What is the fee for changing GATE 2025 exam centre?

A:

Candidates can modify their selected GATE exam city during the GATE application form correction period. The GATE form correction facility was activated on November 6, 2024 at the GOAPS portal. Q:   What documents should I carry to the GATE examination centre?

A:

Candidates must carry the following documents to the GATE 2025 exam centre -

  • GATE 2025 admit card

  • Original Photo ID/identity proof, such as Aadhar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport, etc.

Q:   How to calculate GATE 2025 Score?

A:

The exam authority will calculate the GATE score by considering the raw marks secured by candidates in the GATE 2025 result. The raw marks, or actual marks, will be allotted to the candidates after evaluating the answers. The GATE score for the multi-session exam will be calculated by converting the raw marks into the normalised marks for that particular subject. The raw marks will be used for calculating the GATE score based on the qualifying marks. The scorecard will be available to qualified candidates only. Candidates should keep the soft copy of the GATE scorecard safe for future use. To check the GATE 2025 result, candidates need their enrollment ID/email ID, and password. Q:   How do I change GATE 2025 exam city?

A:

Candidates can change the GATE exam city during the GATE application form correction at the GOAPS portal. The step-by-step process to change the GATE exam city is as follows -

  • Visit the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) website
  • Login to your account with your Enrollment ID/Email Address, Password and Captcha
  • Click on Change Examination City
  • After making changes to the GATE 2025 examination city, you need to make a payment of Rs 500. The payment can be done through net banking/credit/debit card/UPI. 

The allotted GATE exam city address and details will be updated on the GATE hall ticket. Candidates can download the GATE admit card on January 2, 2025.

The XH, XL, and XE in the GATE 2025 exam stands for the following -

  • XH - Humanities and Social Sciences
  • XL - Life Sciences
