The eligibility criteria for IIT (ISM) Dhanbad MTech admissions has three categories. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for all the three categories below:
For GATE qualified candidates
Candidates having valid GATE scores need to fulfill the following eligibility:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology or equivalent from an institute recognized by UGC/ AICTE/ Government
- Master’s degree from an institute recognized by UGC/ AICTE/ Government
- Valid GATE score in the appropriate paper
- Minimum 60% marks or CGPA/CPI of 6.0 in the qualifying degree for candidates under unreserved/ OBC categories
- Minimum 55% marks or CGPA/ CPI of 5.5 in the qualifying degree for candidates under SC/ ST categories.
For IIT Graduates
Candidates who have completed their BTech from IITs with CGPA/CPI of 8.0 or above are eligible to apply for IIT (ISM) Dhanbad MTech admission 2020 without a valid GATE score.
For Sponsored Candidates
A candidate working with any one of the following organizations is said to be a sponsored candidate:
