As per the Last Round closing cutoff for BTech, Computer Science and Engineering has the lowest cutoff as compared to other BTech specialisations. For the OBC category students, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 176 and 2973 during the IIT Kanpur cutoff 2012. The Last Round cutoff for CSE was 99 which is comparatively low for the SC category when compared to other categories, including General and OBC under the ALL India Quota.
