IIT Kanpur cutoff 2014 was released after each round of JoSAA counselling for admission to the BTech programmes. The cutoff was released for various categories, including General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS and PWD.  As per the Last Round closing rank, the BTech cutoff ranged from 207 to 5722 for the General category candidates under the ALL India Quota. IIT Kanpur Cutoff 2014 For General All India Category

IIT Kanpur 2014 cutoff for BTech was released in the form of opening and closing ranks. As per the data given below, the Round 1 closing rank for BTech ranged between 203 and 4844. The Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged from 207 and 5722. Considering both rounds, CSE was the most competitive specialisation, followed by Electrical Engineering. For the OBC category students, the IIT Kanpur 2014 cutoff for BTech ranged from 135 to 2882 during the Last Roud. For other IIT Kanpur BTech courses, the First and the Last Round closing ranks are tabulated below:

While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE Advanced, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

In 2023, it decreased to 1349. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 696 to 788 for OBC, 410 to 581 for SC, 269 to 202 for ST, 287 to 279 for EWS, 109 to 169 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

During the IIT Kanpur cutoff 2014, the BTech cutoff ranged from 68 to 875. As per the Last Round of closing ranks for BTech, CSE was the most competitive specialisation. Compared to other categories, ST has the lowest ranks for all the BTech courses as compared to the General, OBC and SC categories.
