The JEE Advanced candidate response sheet is made available under the respective logins of the candidates at jeeadv.ac.in. Further, IIT Madras will release the JEE Advanced 2024 answer key on June 2. The official question papers of the JEE Advanced exam held on May 26 have been uploaded on the website.

Q:   Can I challenge the JEE Advanced final answer key?

A:
No. Candidates cannot challenge the final JEE Advanced answer key. The final answer key is released after all challenges against the provisional key are considered and the changes, if any, are made. Based on the answer of the JEE Advanced final answer key the result of the exam is prepared. Therefore the final answer key cannot be challenged. Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key of the exam. Steps to challenge the Joint Entrance Examination-Advanced, Answer Keys: 1- Visit the Joint Entrance Examination-Advanced official website; 2- Login using the Joint Entrance Examination-Advanced application number and password; 3- Click on the link to challenge the Joint Entrance Examination-Advanced answer key; 4- Mark the number of Joint Entrance Examination-Advanced questions whose answer is to be challenged; 5- Upload the documents in support of objections and pay fees (if applicable); 6- Click on submit button to challenge.

Q:   How to calculate the scores using the answer key of JEE Advanced?

A:
To check scores using the JEE Advanced answer key, candidates have to follow the marking scheme of the exam. The marking scheme of the exam is displayed on the JEE Advanced online question paper. The broad types of questions that are asked in JEE Advanced are: Single correct, Multiple correct, Numerical type, Paragraph type, Matrix match type, Question stem (Paragraph type question with answer in numerical form). There are questions of 1 mark, 2 marks, 3 marks and 4 marks. There are also questions with negative markings of -1, -2, etc. Candidates must read the instructions on the question paper properly regarding the marking scheme.

Q:   When will the JEE Advanced 2024 response sheet release?

A:

JEE Advanced 2024 response sheet will be out on May 31.  The JEE Advanced response sheet contains the answers marked by the candidates in the exam. Comparing the JEE Advanced answer key and response sheets, candidates can check the number of correct and incorrect answers they have marked in the CBT exam. How to Use the JEE Advanced 2024 Response Sheet To Calculate Score?

To calculate the marks using the JEE Advanced response sheet candidates have to use the steps below:

  • Candidates must check the recorded response in the response sheet and match them with the correct answer in the answer key
  • Then, candidates have to assign marks and deduct marks as per the marking scheme of the exam.
  • Calculate the marks for correct answers and wrong answers and that will be the raw score of JEE Advanced 2024.

JEE Advanced 2024 Answer Key

Candidates can download JEE Advanced 2024 answer key PDF for papers 1 and 2 on the official website. Feedback and comments on provisional answer keys from the candidates are accepted and based on that a final answer key is prepared. The final JEE Advanced answer key will then be released on the official website with the result. To check scores using the JEE Advanced answer key, candidates have to follow the marking scheme of the exam. The marking scheme of the exam is given on the JEE Advanced question paper.

Candidates can raise objections against the official answers that seem incorrect to them. To challenge the answer key, candidates have to login using the JEE Advanced application number and password. Then, click on the link to challenge the answer key. Candidates have to mark then the number of questions whose answer is to be challenged. Also, candidates need to upload the documents in support of objections and pay fees (if applicable). To finalise the challenges, candidates have to click on the submit button to challenge.

JEE Advanced 2024 Qualifying Marks

A candidate is said to have qualified in JEE Advanced if they secure the minimum percentage of marks in each subject and the aggregate, as per respective category and as per the table given below. A candidate who qualifies in more than one category will be considered in all the categories to which he/she belongs for ranking.

JEE Advanced 2024 Result

Candidates can check and download the JEE Advanced 2024 scorecard under their respective login on jeeadv.ac.in. To download the JEE Advanced 2024 scorecard, candidates have to use 7-digit roll number, date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format, and the 10-digit phone number that they used while registering for JEE (Advanced).

JEE Advanced 2024 result is based on the marks secured by the candidates in the exam. The marks obtained by a candidate in Physics in JEE Advanced 2024 will equal the marks scored in the Physics part of Paper 1 plus the marks scored in the Physics part of Paper 2. The aggregate marks obtained by a candidate in JEE (Advanced) 2024 will be the sum of the marks awarded to the candidate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Marks obtained in Chemistry and Mathematics will be calculated in the same way.
