To challenge the answer key, candidates need to log in to the official website using their respective login credentials and pay a non-refundable processing fee of INR 200 per question. The step-wise process to challenge JEE Main 2024 answer key is as follows:
- Visit the official JEE main 2024 website, jeemain.nta.ac.in.
- Click ‘Challenge (s) regarding Answer Key’.
- Login with your Application Number and Date of Birth enter the Security PIN as displayed and Submit.
- Click ‘Challenge (s) regarding Answer Key’.
- You will see the Question IDs in the below sequential order for JEE (Main) – 2024 Session 1 (January 2024).
- The ID next to the question under the column ‘Correct Option’ stands for the most appropriate Answer Key by NTA.
- If you wish to challenge this option, you may use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box.
- You may upload supporting documents for which you can select ‘Choose File and Upload (all documents to be put in a single PDF file).
- After clicking your desired option, for Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.), Mathematics / Aptitude Test for Paper 2A (B.Arch.), and Mathematics / Aptitude Test / Planning for Paper 2B (B.Planning), scroll down and ‘Save you claim’ and move on to the next screen.
- You will see a display of all the Option IDs you have challenged.
- Click on ‘Save your claim and Pay Fee finally’.
- Select the Mode of Payment and Pay a non-refundable processing fee of INR 200/- for each question.

The candidates have to pay INR 200 per question challenged. Candidates can pay the JEE Main answer key challenge fee using any one of the following online modes:

JEE Main 2025 Answer Key challenge facility will open in February. Candidates can submit their grievances in JEE Main answer key in case they have objection to any answer in the NTA answer key. To raise objection, candidates need to login on the JEE Main official website jeemain.nta.ac.in using their application number and date of birth. After login, candidats will have to open the answer key and select the answer that need to be challenges. Candidates also need to pay INR 200 per question to challenge the answer key.
