Yes. BITSAT will be held online i.e., as a computer-based test. The authorities will not conduct any other mode of examination. Candidates will have to be present at the examination centre, which will be allotted as per the preferences submitted in the BITSAT application form. Q: Â What are the sections in the BITSAT paper?
BITSAT paper will consist of four sections - Part I (Physics), Part II (Chemistry), Part III (English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning) and Part IV (Mathematics or Biology). The questions will be prepared based on the various topics of these sections and will assess the candidate's aptitude in the subject. For a higher chance of securing good marks, the candidates are advised to attempt all of the questions in the sections. However, since there is negative marking, the candidates will have to be careful while selecting their answer.
Q: Â How are the questions divided in the BITSAT paper?
Candidates will have to answer 130 multiple-choice questions in the BITSAT paper. While the Physics and Chemistry sections will have 30 questions each, the Mathematics/Biology section will have 40 questions. 12 Additional Questions in BITSAT 2025 Question Paper
If any candidates are able to attempt all 130 questions present in the BITSAT 2025 paper in less than three hours then he/she will be allowed to attempt an additional 12 questions within the remaining time. The additional questions will be from the Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and Logical Reasoning sections only. From each section, only three questions will be given. However, any candidate who chooses to answer these extra 12 exam questions will not be allowed to go back and make any changes to the previously answered 130 questions.
