The authorities will conduct a centralized counselling process for BITSAT qualified candidates. Yes. BITSAT will be held online i.e., as a computer-based test. The authorities will not conduct any other mode of examination. Candidates will have to be present at the examination centre, which will be allotted as per the preferences submitted in the BITSAT application form. BITSAT will be conducted as a computer-based test at various slots. The authorities are expected to conduct BITSAT 2025 in two sessions. For each day of the examination, there will be two slots - Morning Session (9 AM to 12 Noon) and Afternoon Session (2 PM to 5 PM). During the BITSAT slot booking process, the candidates will be able to book their preferred slots from the available ones. According to the official BITSAT eligibility criteria, there is no specific age criteria for the candidates to participate in the BITSAT admission process. However, the candidates should have completed their 12th standard qualifying examination in 2024 or 2025. The candidates who have passed 12th standard in 2022 and earlier will not be eligible for BITSAT 2025. The candidates are advised to check the BITSAT eligibility criteria carefully before registering for the entrance examination.

Yes. Candidates who are appearing for the 12th standard qualifying entrance examination on the admission year will be considered eligible for admissions through BITSAT. However, the candidates will be required to meet the basic BITSAT eligibility criteria that will be prepared and released by the authorities. If the candidates are allotted, then they will be required to show their qualification and other necessary documents at the time of verification. Failure to show the documents will result in the cancellation of admission.

Yes, the registered candidates will be given the chance to edit/correct the information submitted in the BITSAT applicaiton form. The official dates of BITSAT 2025 application form correction facility has not been announced yet. To access the correction facility, the candidates will have to log in using the required credentials. Separate correction facilities will available for the different BITSAT 2025 exam sessions.

BITS Pilani will soon announce the marking scheme along with the BITSAT 2025 exam pattern. For every correct answer, the candidates will be awarded 3 marks. However, if the candidate marks the wrong answer, then 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions. Before the examination, the candidates are advised to carefully check the marking scheme, so that they are aware of how they will be marked for their answers. Since there is negative marking, the candidates are advised to leave the questions unattempted, if they are not sure of the answers. 

The authorities will conduct BITSAT as a computer-based test. As per the official BITSAT exam pattern, the entrance examination will be held in English medium only. Candidates will not have the option to choose their preferred language for the examination. All of the questions and instructions of BITSAT paper will be in English. However, if the candidates face any problems during questions, they can seek the help of the invigilators in the examination centre. Candidates are advised to be ready to attempt the examination in English.

The authorities will release BITSAT exam pattern online. BITSAT is conducted as a computer-based test and the total duration of the examination will be 3 hours. During the exam, the candidates will have to answer 130 multiple-choice questions about various topics from Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency, Logical Reasoning and Mathematics/ Biology. For every correct answer, the candidates will be awarded 3 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Candidates are advised to check the official exam pattern of BITSAT before commencing their preparation progress.

Candidates will have to answer 130 multiple-choice questions in the BITSAT paper. While the Physics and Chemistry sections will have 30 questions each, the Mathematics/Biology section will have 40 questions. The paper will also consist of the English and Logical Reasoning sections, which will have 10 and 20 questions respectively. Each question will have four options, out of which the candidates will have to select the correct one. Candidates will be able to change their options during the duration of the examination, however, no requests for change of answers will be accepted after the paper is submitted.

Yes, the candidates are advised to study the entire BITSAT syllabus for the entrance examination. By knowing the entire syllabus of BITSAT, the candidates will be well-prepared for the examination. To have higher chances of scoring well, the candidates should prepare the entire syllabus, while giving importance to recurring topics and questions that have more weightage. The authorities will soon release the BITSAT 2025 syllabus. As per the syllabus, the examination will consist of questions from subjects and topics of Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency, Logical Reasoning and Mathematics/Biology. It is to be noted that the BITSAT syllabus will be similar to the 11th and 12th standard syllabus. The authorities will conduct the BITSAT slot booking facility as a first-come-first-serve process. To ensure that the candidates are allotted slots according to their preference, they are advised to attempt the slot booking process as soon as possible. If the candidates leave the slot booking for later, then they are likely to not be able to get their preferred slots. The availability of slots is an important factor in the BITSAT slot booking process.

While reporting to the exam centre, the candidates will have to present their BITSAT hall ticket. Before downloading the hall ticket of BITSAT, the candidates are advised to check all of the present information for any mistakes. Some of the important details present in the BITSAT admit card are - candidate's application number, name, subject, examination centre address, allotted exam date and time, signature, exam day guidelines and more. 

Yes. The candidates will be able to download the BITSAT scorecard. The authorities will release the moderated scores obtained in the examination through the BITSAT result/scorecard. To download the scorecard, the candidates will have to log in using their application number and password. No other mode will be used to release the BITSAT scorecard. The candidates will be required to download and print out the scorecard for future use.

BITSAT 2025 result date will be released soon. The result will be available for download in the form of a BITSAT score card. The moderated scores will be available through the score card, while the obtained scores will be available immediately after the conclusion of the examination. Candidates will be able to access the BITSAT result/score card separately for every session.

Candidates will be able to check their obtained marks immediately after the conclusion of BITSAT. After the candidates complete the examination and submit their answers, the obtained scores will be displayed on the screen. The number of correct and incorrect answers along with the total obtained score will be available thorugh the BITSAT result. The candidates will be able to download their result in the form of a BITSAT scorecard later. 

Yes. The authorities have prepared certain tie-breaking rules for situations where two or more candidates secure the same scores in the entrance examination. Firstly, the tie will be broken by allotting the higher rank to the candidate who has secured higher marks in Mathematics/Biology. If the tie still exists, then the candidate's score in Physics will be considered for allotment of higher rank. If the tie still exists, then the candidate's score in Chemistry will be considered. Finally, if the tie still persists, then the score obtained in the 12th standard qualifying examination will be considered for allotment of higher rank.

Yes. 12th standard national and state board toppers who meet the basic eligibility criteria will be eligible to participate diretly in the BITSAT counselling. These candidates will be able to apply for direct admissions into the BE courses offered by the campuses of BITS. They will not be required to appear for BITSAT and admissions will be done based on their 12th standard qualifying entrance examination scores.

However, if the candidates meet the BITSAT cutoff, then they will have higher chances of admission into their preferred campus and course. Candidates are advised to check the previous years' cutoff trends before filling out their preferences.

No. BITSAT is held to select candidates for admissions into the participating campuses - Goa, Pilani and Hyderabad. The obtained scores in the entrance examination will be used only for admissions into these institutes. No other colleges will accept BITSAT scores for admissions. After qualifying BITSAT, the candidates will have to participate in the counselling process for admissions into the undergraduate engineering courses offered by the Goa, Pilani or Hyderabad campus. Candidates are advised to check the admission criteria carefully before applying for BITSAT. 

Yes. The candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology for their 10+2th standard qualifying examination will be eligible to apply for BITSAT. However, these candidates will only be eligible for B.Pharma admissions. Since BTech/BE admissions require Mathematics as a compulsory subject, the candidates who have opted for Biology in their 10+2th standard examination will not be able to apply for the engineering entrance examination.

The authorities will release the BITSAT result link online at bitsadmission.com. To download the BITSAT scorecard/result, the candidates will have to log in using their required credentials i.e., application form number and password. The authorities will not use any other mode to declare the BITSAT result/scorecard. However, the scorecard will consist of the moderated scores and the candidates will be able to check their obtained scores immediately after the conclusion of the exam.

Therefore, the candidates are advised to be careful while selecting their list of preferred exam cities in the BITSAT application form. Based on the preferences, the authorities will allot the BITSAT exam centres.

In case the candidates are not satisfied with their BITSAT seat allotment, then they can choose to forgo their seats and remain on the wait list. Candidates who are on the wait list can participate in the next round of BITSAT counselling to have a chance of being allotted into their preferred course and campus. In case there are vacant seats, the candidates will have the chance of being allotted into their preferences. Confirmation of admission can be done by verifying the documents and paying the required fee.

To qualify BITSAT the students are advised to create a strong preparation plan. Firstly, the students should check and be familiar with the BITSAT exam pattern and syllabus. This will allow the students to understand how the examination will be held and know the subjects and topics that have to be studied. A proper timetable has to be created that will allow the students to finish the syllabus beforehand and give them enough time for revision. Mock tests and sample papers should be attempted regularly so that they are able to understand their weak areas and work on them. Students should also ensure that they get enough rest and are healthy fo the examination.

While filling out the BITSAT application form, the candidates will have to upload their scanned photograph and signature. The documents should meet the specifications mentioned by the official authorities. The file size of photograph should be between 50KB to 100KB, while the signature should be between 10KB to 100KB. Both documents should be uploaded in JPEG/JPG format in the BITSAT application form.

Yes. For BPharma admissions into the BITS campuses, the candidates will require a valid BITSAT score. No other scores will be considered by the authorities for admissions into the B.Pharma courses offered by the participating campuses. However, 12th standard central/state board toppers will be offered direct admissions. These candidates can participate directly in the BITSAT counselling process. These candidates will have to meet the basic eligibility criteria for BITSAT admissions.

Candidates will be able to analyze the important topics are likely to be repeated in the question paper and needs more focus by checking the previous years' BITSAT papers. These important topics may have a higher weightage in the paper and provide the candidates an opportunity to secure marks. However, the candidates are advised to prepare the entire syllabus to have a higher chance of performing well in the entrance examination. Some of the subject-wise important topics for BITSAT are given below.

• Physics - Electrostatics, Mechanics, Relative Motion and Electromagnetic Induction.
• Mathematics - Continuity, Quadratic equations, Coordinate geometry, Area under the curve, Algebra Limit, Calculus, Differentiation and Integration.
• Chemistry - Nitrogen, Oxygen, Biomolecule, Alkane, Noble Gases, Ionic Equilibrium and Polymer.

Candidates are advised to attempt mock tests regularly while preparing for BITSAT. Through the mock tests, the candidates will be able to understand how the entrance examination will be held. Mock tests also allow the candidates to assess their preparation progress and identify their commonly made mistakes. After identifying their commonly made mistakes, the candidates can work on it so that the same is not made during the examination. Mock tests also help the candidates to build their time management skills. 

No. The candidates will not be able to choose their exam centre during the BITSAT slot booking process. The authorities will announce the test centre allotment separately for each session. Candidates will have to log in using the required credentials to check their alloted BTISAT exam centres. The allotment of exam centres will be done as per the preferences submitted in the BITSAT application form. Candidates will be able to selected the preferred exam date and time in their respective exam centres during the slot booking process.

No. The candidates will not be allowed to change their selected BITSAT exam slots after completing the process. The authorities will strictly not accept any requests for a change of slots. Therefore, the students are advised to be very careful while selecting their preferred slots during the BITSAT slot booking. Based on the preferred slot and availability, the candidates will be allotted their slots for BITSAT. It is to be noted that the BITSAT slot booking process is a one-time facility. The candidates are advised to complete the process as soon and as early as possible.
