Our college infrastructure is average.
Placements: In our college, approximately 60% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top roles were offered as sales executives. Almost 60% of students got internships from college. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visited our campus. Many students were placed on that on-campus drive.
Infrastructure: Our college had Wi-Fi, labs, and a library available. Classrooms were good. The food quality was excellent at the college canteen. At the hostel, you can get Wi-Fi, but the quality of food at the hostel was not so good. The college had numerous indoor sports facilities.
Faculty: Our college faculty members were average and they were not helpful. The course curriculum was relevant. It made students industry-ready, but one had to do hard work to get the on-campus opportunity. There were a total of eight semesters. One should get at least 60% to qualify for exams.
Other: I am very interested in EE so I chose this course. Our college fees were high. That should be less because middle-class students can afford this.

Review of UEM Kolkata.
Placements: The placement record at UEM Kolkata is not very good. Only about 30% of students get placed, and the internship opportunities are not that good. The highest salary package is 78 lakhs, and the lowest is 4.8 lakhs. Some of the companies that come for placements are Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, and Tata Consultancy Services.
Infrastructure: The WiFi is decent, the library is good, and the food quality is average. There is a canteen on campus, which is good. However, there is no hostel and no ground for sports. On the plus side, there is a basement where sports and other activities can be held.
Faculty: The faculty at this college is pretty average. There are only three or four good teachers; the rest are very average and just cover the syllabus to get through the semester. Most students don't understand the material, and the semester exams are difficult. Plus, there's too much pressure to maintain an 80% attendance rate.

Infrastructure: The campus has all facilities and infrastructure required, and all the labs are up to date, with all the current equipment. The library is open 24*7 for 365 days, and it has Wi-Fi and books. Food quality in the canteen is quite good and affordable. It has a sports ground and indoor games floor for sports enthusiasts. It also has a medical room for emergencies.
Faculty: Most of our faculty members are 20-30 years of experience. They are helpful whenever you need them and try to solve your problems. Our courses include indoor studies and industrial visits. Before the semester exams, they conduct two more exams to make us ready for it. The pass percentage is above 95%. Semester exams are moderate.
Other: I chose electrical engineering because I had an interest in it, and I can be able to try for government jobs as well. Our college also trains us for all types of government jobs like UPSE, bank jobs etc. Every year, many fests and events are held. Everything in the hostel is well-managed, and there is nothing to complain about.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They clear our problems within seconds and teach in a different way, that helps us to understand difficult topics within a few minutes. The course curriculum is relevant, and it does make the student industry-ready.
