1. Understand the exam pattern and curriculum: Understanding the test pattern and syllabus is the first step in passing the JEE Advanced. This will help you identify the subjects on which you should concentrate. 2. Make a study plan: Now that you are familiar with the course material, it is time to make a study plan. This should specify when and how much time you should devote to each subject. Keep to your schedule so that you may finish all the subjects before the test. 3. Take practise exams: After studying all the material, it's crucial to take practise exams to assess your understanding and pinpoint your areas of weakness. Regular practise exams will also help you feel more confident on test day. 4. Get enough sleep and exercise: It's crucial to look after your health as you study for the JEE Advanced. You maintain a healthy body and mind, make sure to obtain enough sleep and exercise. 5. Maintain your good attitude: While studying for exams might be challenging, it's crucial to maintain your attitude the entire time. Have confidence in your abilities to pass the exam. 6. Q:   What books do I solve in the last month of my JEE Advanced preparation?

A:

It is recommened to not start with any new book in the last one month of JEE Advanced preparation. Rely on the books and study materials you already have gone through. Rather than relying on the books im the last one month, it is recimmenede that the candidates should:

  • Dedicate at least 7 hours for tests three times a week. After each test, analyze the gaps and take corrective actions.
  • Solve past IIT papers to familiarize yourself with the exam pattern and question types.
  • Regularly revise formulas from all three subjects and review the topics in your short notes.
  • Identify and address any vulnerable concepts or topics. To do this, go through the material and solve at least 50 problems of varying difficulty.

Q:   Which are the best books to prepare for JEE Advance in the last month? My maths is very good but my chemistry is extremely poor.

A:

Only do two things if you have one month left.

  • Purchase topic wise previous year Questions books of JEE Mains and Advanced with detailed solutions. Make sure book is divided topic wise. Solve each and every question and SEE solutions. Don't make notes or read books. Only make formulae and concept sheet. Whenever you think you need to read book. Just read it and don't read entirely or make notes. Completing questions is your target.
  • Daily solve one dpp sheet. There are many DPP sheets available online. Daily solve one for each subject. Only one. And whatever questions you can't do. SEE their solutions. Make sure in one month you atleast give 5 random full JEE Advanced mock tests. Just sit for 3 hours and give exam. No need to think about marks.

Q:   Which is a better book for JEE Advanced inorganic chemistry preparation - Inorganic Chemistry by OP Tandon or Inorganic Chemistry by JD Lee?

A:

Here's a comparison to help you decide which one is better for JEE Advanced preparation:

Inorganic Chemistry by O.P. Tandon: This book is more suited for students who are preparing for JEE Mains and Advanced. It covers a broad range of topics and is structured in a way that gradually builds up from basic to advanced concepts. It has a wide variety of problems, ranging from basic to slightly advanced, with enough practice material for JEE Mains and the early preparation stage for JEE Advanced. If you're looking for conceptual clarity and problem-solving practice without diving too deep into theoretical aspects, this book is a great choice. It's more structured for systematic learning.

Inorganic Chemistry by J.D. Lee: This book is considered more advanced and is highly recommended for JEE Advanced preparation. It delves deeply into the theoretical aspects of Inorganic Chemistry and is best suited for students who already have a strong foundation in the subject. The book contains fewer practice problems compared to O.P. Tandon, but it provides challenging problems that are more aligned with JEE Advanced-level difficulty. If your goal is to master the subject at a deeper level and you are preparing specifically for JEE Advanced, this book will be your go-to choice. It's perfect for advanced learners who are ready to engage with high-level concepts and problems.

Inc onclusion, for JEE Mains and Early JEE Advanced preparation, O.P. Tandon would be more suitable. However, J.D. Lee is the ideal choice if you're aiming for advanced-level understanding and high-level problem-solving. It's a classic book that will help you fine-tune your knowledge and tackle the toughest questions in JEE Advanced.
