RRB Application Form 2024: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will soon release the application status for the RRB NTPC 2024 exam. The RRB NTPC application form 2024 for graduate posts was available from September 14, 2024, to October 20, 2024, and from September 21 to October 27, 2024, for undergraduate posts. The RRB NTPC form correction 2024 window closed on November 6, 2024. The RRB ALP application form 2024 was made available again for Technician posts from October 2 to 28, 2024. RRB application form is released on the respective official websites of RRBs. However, the official page provides the RRB application form online links for various posts- RRB Group D, RRB NTPC, RRB ALP, and RRB JE. RRB application form comprises several parts that candidates need to fill correctly. It is mandatory to complete all the parts of the RRB application form. The RRB Online application process is almost the same for all the exams. The application process varies only during the selection of the desired RRB 2024 Exam. RRB NTPC salary is different for different posts. The starting basic salary range offered to undergraduate posts is INR 19,900 to 21,700. While, the graduate post employees are offered RRB NTPC salary in the range of INR 25,500 to INR 35,400. The monthly basic salary for Junior Clerk cum Typist is INR 19,900 while it is INR 35,400 for Station Master and Commercial Apprentice. RRB Group D application form is released for the post of Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical and S&T departments), Pointsman and other Level-I posts. The selection process comprises CBT, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification, and Medical Examination. Interested candidates need to apply online for the exam. The application fee can be paid both online and offline. Candidates are not required to send the hard copy of the application form. Candidates should not submit multiple applications for RRB Group D exams. The application fee is INR 500 (for all candidates except the fee concession categories). How to Fill RRB Application Form 2024?
The steps to fill out the RRB application form are given below:
RRB Registration
- Visit the official websites of RRBs
- Select the railway to which you wish to apply
- Confirm that you have read and understood the instructions clearly by clicking the checkbox
- Click on ‘New Registration’
- Enter name, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, Aadhaar Number, SSLC/Matric Registration Number, Year of passing, mobile number, and email ID
- Candidates with ITI/NAC qualifications can enter their registration number/year of passing for ITI/NAC qualification instead of SSLC/Matric
- Before submitting the registration form, ensure and confirm that all the information is correct since it cannot be changed later
- The email ID used for registration must be unique
Verification of Email ID and Mobile Number Through OTP
- On submitting the primary details, the registration number and password are displayed
- OTPs are also sent to the registered mobile number and email along with the registration details
- Candidates need to enter the OTP to proceed to fill out the application form and make fee payment
Candidates can proceed with the online application by clicking on the ‘Already Registered’ button on the home page using the registration number and password
Filling out the Application Form
- In Part 1 of the application page, provide the details of educational qualification, community UR/OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/EWS, Gender, Religion, Ex-SM, PwBD, CCAA, Minority, Economically Backward, Class and Age Relaxation eligibility category as applicable and other details
- In Part 2 of the application page, candidates need to indicate his/her priority/preference for the posts
Payment and Bank Account Details
- On completion of application details, candidates will be redirected to the payment page
- Choose the payment mode - Bank (Online Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI and Offline Challan) or Post Office Challans and complete the payment
- Those who opt for payment through offline mode should note that the payment confirmation may take two hours. Therefore, they need to again login after two hours for confirmation of payment status. The time period for payment confirmation varies from 24 hours to 48 hours in the case of Post Office payment.

Choice of Exam Language
English is the default language. In case, the candidate wishes to choose any other language, then the same can be selected from the drop-down list of languages. The languages listed are Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

Bank Account Details for Refund
- Candidates who attend CBT are eligible for a refund of the examination fee. All candidates who give the confirmation to receive their refund to the account from which they have made the application fee payment, need not fill in these details and hence, this will not be visible to them
- Only those candidates who do not wish to receive the refund in the account through which they paid the examination fee should provide the details of the Beneficiary Account in which they wish to receive the refund viz. Beneficiary Name, Account Number, Name of Bank, and IFSC Code in the online application
- Those candidates who deposited their fees through Post Office or SBI Challan must provide the details of the Beneficiary Account in which they wish to receive the refund viz. Beneficiary Name, Account Number, Name of Bank, and IFSC Code in the Online Application, otherwise they will not receive the refund
- Candidates may indicate their consent for sharing the scores obtained by them in RRB/RRC exams with other Ministries/Departments/PSUs and Private organizations, for recruitment
Photograph and Signature Upload
- Candidates will be automatically directed to the ‘upload the photo and signature
- Select the 'Upload Photo Tab' and upload your colour photograph
- The photograph should be of size 35mmX45mm or 320 x 240 pixels
- It should be in JPG/JPEG format scanned with 100 DPI resolution
- The size of the photograph should be between 20-50KB
- The signature should be in JPG/JPEG format scanned with 100 DPI resolution
- Dimensions of 50mmx20mm or 140x60 pixels are preferred
- Size of the file should be between 10KB-40KB
SC/ST Certificate Upload
Candidates belonging to the SC/ST community who opt to avail of the Free Rail Travel have to upload scanned copies of their SC/ ST certificates in JPG/JPEG format. The size of the file should be 50 KB to 100 KB.
Submission of Application
In the end, candidates have to confirm the declaration. After confirming the declaration and submission of the application, candidates can download the PDF copy of the application form.

Candidates must read the instructions carefully before filling RRB application form. It is essential that candidates understand all the information in the RRB notification to prevent any mistakes while filling out the application form.
Keep the Scanned Documents Ready

Candidates are advised to check the post parameter table and vacancy table to ascertain the vacancies notified against all railways and then decide the railway for which they wish to apply.
Keep a Valid Mobile Number and Email ID Ready
Candidates are advised to have a valid mobile number and email ID and should be kept active throughout the recruitment process. All communications from RRBs/RRCs will be sent through SMS/email. Only one online registration is permitted through one mobile number and one email ID.

RRB Application Form Correction 2024
Candidates can edit their Railway Exam application forms in the following manner:
- After the final submission of the RRB application form, in case of candidates wish to make minor changes, the correction of data other than railway, email, and mobile number can be done by paying the modification fee of INR 100 (Non-Refundable)
- In the case of candidates modifying their communities from SC/ST to UR or OBC, they need to pay the difference in examination fee of INR 250 in addition to the modification fee
- Similarly, if candidates are switching from Ex-SM/PwBD/Female/Transgender to UR/OBC (NCL)/Non-Ex.SM/Non-PwBD/Male etc, need to pay the difference in examination fee of INR 250 in addition to the modification fee
- The modification in the registration and application details can be done two times only
- The Railway opted for, an email id, and mobile number that cannot be changed

- Login using the registration number and password
- Pay the modification fee through any of the modes available for actual examination fee payment
- Ensure payment is made well within the date and time prescribed
- Click on the ‘Modify Application’ button
- Proceed with the changes intended as per the instructions given and submit the application
