RRB Syllabus 2024: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) conduct various recruitment exams to fill vacancies in different departments of the Indian Railways including RRB NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories), RRB JE (Junior Engineer), RRB ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot) and RRB Group D exams. Candidates appearing in these exams need to be well-prepared to ace the exam. Candidates are advised to go through the latest Railway exams syllabus such as the RRB NTPC Syllabus, and RRB JE Syllabus. RRB ALP Syllabus and RRB Group D Syllabus. RRBs release the RRB syllabus for various railway exams along with the notification for the RRB Exam. The Railway Recruitment Board prescribes RRB NTPC syllabus for CBT 1 and 2. The syllabus is mentioned in the official recruitment notification. The exam is conducted to select candidates for various posts such as Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Station Master, etc in the Indian Railways. It is highly competitive exam and the knowledge of RRB NTPC syllabus is important to crack the exam. The syllabus of RRB NTPC highlights the topics that candidates need to cover for the exam. RRB NTPC syllabus includes topics and sub-topics from three subjects-General Intelligence & Reasoning, Mathematics, and General Awareness. RRB NTPC syllabus for different subjects is given below:

  • Mathematics: Data Interpretation, Profit, Loss & Discount, Speed, Time & Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Geometry, Time and Work, Percentage, etc. 
  • Reasoning: Alphabet series, Number series, Coding-Decoding, Venn Diagram, Syllogism, etc.

Q:   What is the difficulty level of RRB Group D exam?

A:

RRB Group D exam is not difficult. It all depends upon the preparation. If candidates have prepared dedicated, the exam is going to be easy. When candidates give complete effort to any exam. Then, there is no exam that is going to be hard. Always keep faith on your preparation. Try to solve previous years question papers. Be prepared to face any kind of situation. RRB ALP is conducted in several stages first stage CBT, second stage CBT, and CBAT. CBT 1 is common for ALP and Technician posts. RRB ALP syllabus for this stage includes Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, General Awareness and Current Affairs.

Q:   How many questions are asked in RRB Group D exam?

A:
The question paper of RRB Group D comprises a total of 100 questions. There are a total of 25 questions each in General Science and Mathematics. Total 30 questions are asked in General Intelligence and Reasoning section and 20 in General Awareness and Current Affairs. RRB Group D exam is conducted for the post of Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical and S&T departments), Pointsman and other Level-I posts. A:

RRB NTPC exam comprises subjects such as Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness. The subjects included in CBT 1 and 2 are the same. However, the difficulty level varies as per the stage of exam. The CBT 1 exam of RRB NTPC is conducted for 100 marks. The CBT 2 exam of RRB NTPC is held for 120 marks. Railway RRB NTPC Syllabus 2024

RRB NTPC exam is conducted to select candidates for graduate and undergraduate posts under Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) in various zonal railways and production units of Indian Railways. RRB NTPC exam pattern is such that it is divided into first-stage CBT, second-stage CBT, CBAT, typing skill test, and document verification/medical examination.

RRB NTPC Syllabus for CBAT

RRB NTPC syllabus for CBAT comprises Intelligence Test, Selective Attentive Test, Spatial Scanning Test, Information Ordering and Personality Test. The exam is conducted for Traffic Assistants and Station Masters. This exam comprises different test batteries that comprise five to six tests. 

RRB NTPC Syllabus for Typing Test

Typing test is conducted for Senior Time Keeper, Junior Account Assistant Cum Typist, and Senior Clerk Cum Typist posts. In this test, candidates are required to type 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi. 

Railway ALP Syllabus 2024

RRB ALP exam is conducted for the posts of Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician. RRB ALP exam pattern is divided into two stages, CBT stage 1 and CBT stage 2 (consists of Part A and B). Candidates can check below RRB ALP syllabus.

Railway RRB Group D Syllabus 2024

RRB Group D exam is conducted to recruit eligible candidates for various posts in Level-1 of the seventh CPC pay matrix such as Helper/Assistant Pointsman, Track Maintainer Grade-IV, and many more in various departments of Indian Railways. RRB Group D exam comprises three stages of selection, Computer-Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification and Medical exam. RRB Group D Syllabus for CBT comprises topics from General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness and Current Affairs.
