RRB Cut-off 2024: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) release the cut-off marks for the RRB NTPC, RRB Group D, RRB JE and RRB ALP exams along with the result. The RRB exam cut-off 2024 will be released in a PDF file along with the scorecard download link. The RRB ALP cutoff, RRB NTPC cutoff, RRB JE cutoff and RRB Group D cutoff marks are released category-wise for different stages of the selection process- CBT 1, CBT 2, CBAT, Typing Skill Test, and Final one. RRB Group D cut off is the minimum qualifying marks which candidates need to secure inorder to qualify the exam and become eligible for the next round of selection process. RRB Group D cut off is released in PDF form and comprises the category-wise cut off marks. There are no sectional cut off marks in the exam. The examination authority releases overall cut off marks for the exam. Candidates securing equal to or more than the cut off marks are selected for the exam. RRB Group D cut off marks are calculated out of 100 marks. There are various factors based on which the cut off marks are calculated. These factors are number of vacancies, difficulty level of the exam and number of test takers. RRB Group D cut off is calculated after the normalisation of marks.

Percentile scores are scores based on the relative performance of all candidates who appear for the examination. The marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each shift. The percentile score indicates the percentage of candidates that have scored equal to or below (same or lower raw scores) that particular percentile in that examination. Therefore, the topper (the highest score) of each shift get the same percentile of 100 which is desirable. In case two or more candidates secure the same marks, their merit position is determined by the age criteria. The letter of appointment is issued by the Railway Administrations. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their passing requisite Medical Fitness Test to be conducted by the Railway Administration, final verification of educational and community certificates and verification of antecedents/character of the candidates. It may also be noted that all candidates successful in DV are sent for Medical Examination.
