SBI Notification 2024: The State Bank of India (SBI) released SBI notification 2024 for special recruitment drive including Leh & Kargil Valley (Chandigarh Circle). A total of 50 vacancies were announced for the exam. SBI Clerk application form 2024 for special recruitment drive was available from December 7 to 27, 2024. SBI PO notification 2024 is available now for a total of 600 vacancies. SBI Clerk 2024 notification for regular vacancies was released on December 16, 2024.

Q:   How many minimum marks are required to crack SBI PO exam?

A:

The minimum marks to crack SBI PO exam isn't disclosed yet by the governing committee. It depends on the level of competition and the number of vacancies they have. Based on these, after the examination is over, the committee decides the cut-off level and sends notifications to the qualifying candidates informing them of further procedures. There are no sectional cut off marks in SBI PO exam. Candidates need to secure the overall cut off marks as per their categories in the exam. The marks of candidate are calculated as per the marking scheme. The marking scheme is given below:

  • There is SBI PO negative marking for wrong answers, one-fourth marks assigned to a particular question in the objective test are deducted as penalty to arrive at the corrected scores
  • There is no SBI PO negative marking for the subjective part of the mains exam
  • If a question is left blank, there will be no penalty for that question
  • For correct answers, candidates score one mark

Q:   What is the selection process of SBI PO exam?

A:

The selection process of SBI PO comprises prelims exam, Mains exam, psychometric test, group exercises & interview. Final selection is done based on the Mains exam and group exercises and interview. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit. The prelims exam is only to screen candidates for the Mains exam. SBI PO prelims exam is conducted for 100 marks. The test paper carries questions from English Language, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. The total marks allotted to the prelims exam are 100. The mains exam carries both subjective and objective type questions. Total marks allotted to the mains exam are 250. The Group Exercises and Interview carries 50 marks.

Q:   How many attempts are there in SBI Clerk exam?

A:
There is no limit to the number of attempts in SBI Clerk exam. Candidates can apply for the exam as per the prescribed age limit. The age of candidates should be between 20 and 28 years. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories are given relaxation in the upper age limit as per the government rules. The educational qualification prescribed for the exam is graduation. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificates can also apply for the SBI Clerk exam. Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the Graduation. The date of passing the eligibility examination is the date appearing on the mark sheet/certificate or provisional certificate issued by the University/Institute. In case the result of a particular examination is posted on the website of the University/ Institute, a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the University/Institute indicating the date on which the result was posted on the website will be taken as the date of passing.

Q:   How many times in a year SBI Clerk exam is conducted?

SBI Clerk exam is conducted annually by the State Bank of India. The exam is conducted for selection of Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales). Selected candidates are posted to the various branches of SBI spread throughout the country. SBI Clerk salary is INR 19,900 (INR 17,900 plus two advance increments admissible to graduates). Any graduate candidate who are between 20 and 28 years can apply for the exam. Relaxation in the age limit is provided to candidates belonging to different categories. SBI Clerk selection process comprises prelims and mains exams followed by language proficiency test. It is mandatory to clear the language proficiency test. SBI PO exam pattern is divided into prelims, mains and Interview. The total marks of the prelims exam are 100. The main exam comprises both subjective and descriptive-type tests. The total marks for the mains exam are 250. The interview carries 50 marks. 

SBI Clerk

SBI Clerk exam pattern comprises the prelims exam and mains exam. The prelims exam carries 100 marks while the mains exam comprises 200 marks. 

SBI SO

SBI SO exam pattern follows different exam structures for different posts. For some posts, the online test comprises three sections, while for others there are four sections. 

Q:   What is SBI PO marking scheme?

A:

SBI PO marking scheme is prescribed by the examination authority. The scores of candidates are calculated as per the marking scheme. SBI PO marking scheme is given below:
