SSC CPO Exam Centres 2024: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) releases SSC CPO exam centres along with the notification. SSC CPO is conducted in 100 cities across the country. Candidates are required to enter the preference of SSC CPO exam centres while filling the application form. The exam centres are allotted to candidates as per their preferences of candidates. However, the examination authority reserves the right to allot SSC CPO exam centres to candidates.

Q:   How to select SSC CPO exam centres?

A:

Applicants filling SSC CPO application form are required to enter their preferences of exam cities in the form. Candidates must enter three options for the exam centres in the order of priority within the same region. The examination authority reserves the right to allot test cities to candidates. The examination authority also reserves the right to cancel any of the given test cities. The exam cities once chosen by candidates cannot be changed. Therefore, candidates should enter their preferences of test cities carefully.

The exam is conducted online across various cities spread throughout the country, There are more than 100 test cities for SSC CPO exam.   • While filling out the SSC CPO application form,  candidates must enter three options for the exam centres in the order of priority within the same region
  • SSC will not entertain any request for change of SSC CPO exam centre at the later on, so candidates are advised to select exam centres carefully
  • SSC reserves the right to cancel any SSC CPO exam centre and ask candidates to appear on another one
  • Candidates are encouraged to visit the exam centre of SSC CPO exam at least 2-3 days before the exam day to familiarise themselves with the location, route and traffic conditions on the way there so as to avoid unforeseen issues on the exam day
  • Reach the SSC CPO exam centre at least 30-40 minutes before the reporting time to avoid any hassle

Q:   Can I bring ballpoint pen for SSC CPO exam?

A:

Candidates can use black ink pen/black ball-point pen for filling up the Part-A of Side 1, Part-B of Side I and Side 2 of the answer sheet. Candidates need to handover the answer sheet after the exam gets over. Answer sheets and question papers are supplied inside the examination hall. Any candidate who does not hand over answer sheet or is found to attempting to take answer sheet out of the examination hall will be disqualified and the Commission will take further action against him as per rule.
