Calculation of Scores Using SSC Stenographer Answer Key
Candidates can follow the marking scheme given below for the calculation of the probable score:
- For the correct answer, one mark is awarded
- For the wrong response, 0.25 marks are deducted
- The scores are calculated based on correct and incorrect responses
Normalisation of marks
The marks of candidates obtained in CBT are normalized using the formula. The normalisation of scores is done to adjust the difficulty level of question papers since the SSC Stenographer exam is held in multiple sessions. Such normalized scores are used to determine final merit and cut off marks.
SSC Stenographer Exam Pattern
The computer-based test of SSC Stenographer comprises three sections, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language and Comprehension. A total of 200 objective type questions will be asked which candidates need to answer within two hours. The total marks allotted to the test are 200.
Objections against SSC Stenographer Answer Key
Candidates must go through SSC Stenographer answer keys and submit representations, if any, within the time limit given by the examination authority. They need to pay INR 100 to raise an objection against per question and answers. The review panel examines the objections submitted by candidates.
