SSC Stenographer exam is conducted for recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade C (Group B Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade D (Group C). The exam comprises Computer-Based Test and Skill Test. On the basis of the candidate's marks in the Computer-Based Test, candidates are selected for the skill test. The final selection of candidates is done based on the Computer-Based Test and skill test. To qualify the SSC Stenographer exam, candidates need to prepare well. Candidates must begin their preparation by understanding the exam pattern and syllabus. English Language and Comprehension Section

English Language & Comprehension Section is considered as one of the most scoring sections in Paper 1. This section tests a candidate’s understanding of grammar and vocabulary. This section will include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type.
