UPSC CMS exam pattern 2022 has been notified in the official notification. UPSC CMS 2022 exam is a two-stage exam where the candidates appear in the online Computer-Based Test (CBT) and the UPSC personality test. UPSC CMS Exam Pattern –Written Exam

The written exam stage of the UPSC CMS exam comprises two question papers. Both the papers are objective type computer-based test. The candidates need to appear in both the papers based on the given UPSC CMS syllabus. The time limit for each paper is two hours.

UPSC CMS Exam - Negative Marking

There is a negative marking in the objective type papers of the UPSC CMS written exam. Each wrong answer will deduct (1/3) marks assigned to that question. No marks will be deducted if the candidates do not mark the answer to the question. The candidates are suggested to mark those answers where they are confident the answers.
Every three wrong answers will consume the marks got in one right answer. It means for each three wrong and one right answers, the resultant marks will be zero only.

The candidates who qualify in the written exam are called for an interview at the UPSC office in New Delhi. The candidates need to bring all the academic and professional certificates at the time of the interview for the document verification process. The maximum marks for the UPSC CMS interview are 100 marks and the candidates
