UPSC CMS 2022 Vacancies: Apply Online for 687 Vacancies for Category 1 & 2

UPSC CMS 2022 vacancies were notified in the official notification. The total number of vacancies in the UPSC CMS 2022 exam was 687. The number of vacancies notified this year is less than the previous years number of 838. The official advertisement also notified the category-wise vacancies. The number of vacancies influences the cutoff at every stage of exam. Being all other things the same, a higher number of vacancies means a lower cutoff for the CMS exam (CBT). UPSC CMS vacancies are notified under two categories as follows:

Category I

1. Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services

Category II

1. Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways
2. Assistant Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Services 
3. General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council 
4. General Duty Medical Grade-II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation.

The UPSC CMS exam is a national exam conducted across the nation and hence the number of vacancies are always good. But 'Health' being the state subject, the UPSC CMS vacancies are not as large as expected from a national level exam. UPSC CMS 2021 vacancies were notified in the official UPSC CMS 2021 notification.
