CUET 2022 Student Reactions

Lakshi: ''I appeared for General Knowledge, Computer Science and English paper. General knowledge and English part was easy but Computer Science section was little tough for me. There was no technical issue at the exam centre and exam was conducted smoothly. I managed to complete my paper on time and there was no time management issue as well. I aspire to take admission in Delhi University and I am not appearing for any other paper for CUET. Questions asked in Computer Science were out of syllabus and were little tough.''

Madhya: ''I just appeared for CUET exam for undergraduate courses. I appeared for three papers English, General Studies and Legal Studies. The registration process took a little time and we were made to wait a lot in the auditorium before the exam. We waited for around 20 minutes on our allotted computer systems and then the exam started. But there was no technical issue during the exam and it was conducted smoothly. I had a lot of expectations that the exam would be really tough but on the contrary it was quite easy. If you had studied your topics well enough throughout the year there was no issue in answering the questions. There was no out of syllabus questions. General Knowledge part was very easy.'' She added,  ''The language part was quite easy, the questions were direct. The overall difficulty level was moderate to easy. I would rate 3.5 out 5 for the dificualty level of CUET. I will be appearing for two more papers on August 5 for Political Science and Psychology. I hope the exam pattern remains the same.''

Aanchal: ''The English paper was easy and I was able to complete it under given time. The Physical Education questions were also easy and the time limit was perfect. The problem was with Maths. We were supposed to do 40 questions in just 45 minutes. The time limit for it should have been increased a little more. The difficulty level was moderate to easy. There a few tough questions as well. I faced technical issue during the exam as my computer was hanged and my computer mouse was not working. I appeared for Maths, English and Physical Education. I will also be appearing for Physics and Chemistry paper for CUET exam. I am willing to take admission in Delhi University, IP University or some nearby university.''

Vinay: ''My CUET exam went well. The English paper was quite easy but the General Knowledge part was quite tough. Equal weightage was given to all sections but there were more questions from Computer Science which were mainly from NCERT books. There were many spelling errors in the CUET questions. If I qualify the exam, I will prefer Delhi University (DU) or Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).''

Asheen Kaur: ''I appeared for CUET English, General Test, Information Technology and Maths. All the sections were quite easy. The questions were to the point and basic. There was no out syllabus questions in CUET exam. I faced technical issues while attemting the exam and also missed one question due to it. I will also be appearing for Chemistry and Physics exam for CUET which is on August 8. I would prefer autonomous university with good placement percentage for admission after CUET.''

Vasundhara: ''The question paper was easy but a little lengthy. There were so many questions but the time was less. The English paper was very easy. The aptitude was easy but the number of questions were more. I appeared for Computer Science as well and the questions were easy. The only problem was with time management. I didn't face any technical glitches but the exam started one and a half hour late because of the centre management issue. I will also be appearing for Physics and Chemistry exam which will be held on August 8. I would prefer Delhi University for admission.''

Unfortunately no. DUET is Delhi University Entrance Test and DU has discontinued the PG Diploma in Bioinformatics programme in 2023. Therefore, preparing for DUET to get admission to the PG Diploma in Bioinformatics programme will not be helpful.
