Delhi University recently released the PG admission schedule. The first merit list for admission to DU PG courses will be released on November 30. Release date of second and third merit list for DU PG admission has also been released by the University of Delhi.
Ahead of the merit list, DU has shared some important guidelines for admission to postgraduate courses of Delhi University. Some of the important guidelines are listed below:
- Candidates willing to take admission in PG courses needs to go through the PG Bulletin of Information 2022-23.
- Candidates must be aware of the PG admission schedule on the official website of University of Delhi.
- Once the merit list is released, candidates are required to visit the official website of the University of Delhi to check if they are shortlisted for provisional admission.
- If the candidate gets shortlisted for provisional admission to any Department/Centre/College as per their merit and college preference, candidates must login and click on the “Apply” button to accept the offered seat.
- Thereafter, candidates need to go through three stages approval process including Document Verification, Verified by the Convener and Approval by the Head/Principal.
- After approval, candidates need to upload the documents like - Migration Certificate/ Undertaking of Migration Certificate, Undertaking Submission of Result, Undertaking of submission of revised certificate/document
- After submission of documents, candidates are required to pay the fees.
- If a candidate wishes to change the preference of the College, s/he can apply by clicking on the ‘Reallocation’ button.
- After choosing the option of 'Reallocation', candidate may get reallocated in any subsequent list as per the availability of seat and allocation rules.
- If candidates get reallocated, their previous allocation will be auto cancelled, and the candidate will be required to re-apply on the reallocated seat.
- For any grievance related to postgraduate course admission, the candidate must contact the concerned Department/Centre immediately.

Aspirants preparing for CUET PG examination can expect the release of CUET PG 2024 notification by NTA in the last week December, 2023 or First week of Januray, 2024. The examination will be held for the graduates to get enrolled for various masters degree like MSc, MA, MBA, MTech etc., in various central universities or particiapting universities under the CUET PG 2023 examination.

No, DUET exam will not be conducted in 2024 for UG and PG courses. However, admission to UG and PG courses of Delhi University are done through CUET UG and CUET PG. The examination schedule for CUET UG and PG courses are announced. Candidates interested to appear in the CUET UG and CUET PG exam need to first register for the exam on the official website of the exam. Notably, CUET UG and CUET exams are conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Unfortunately no. DUET is Delhi University Entrance Test and DU has discontinued the PG Diploma in Bioinformatics programme in 2023. Therefore, preparing for DUET to get admission to the PG Diploma in Bioinformatics programme will not be helpful.
