DUET 2022 exam is being conducted by NTA from October 17 to October 21 in three shifts everyday – 8:00-10:00 AM, 12:30-2:30 PM and 5:00-7:00 PM. NTA is conducting the exam as a computer-based test mode following all the COVID-19 precautionary measures. 

The DUET 2022 question paper contains 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each question was of four marks. For each correct answer in the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET), students will be awarded 4 marks while for each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted. Prachi: ''I appeared for MA English exam. The difficulty level of the exam was moderate. The paper was neither too easy nor too hard. The questions were quite easy and simple. The exam was conducted smoothly and there were no technical glitches during the exam.''  

Daksha: ''I appeared for DUET exam for MA English course. DUET was quite tough than the CUET exam. Questions in DUET were more specific and in-depth as compared to CUET which was surficial. The exam was little difficult. Some questions were passage based, some were author based and some were about English plays of 18th century. DUET exam procedure was quite smooth and there were no technical glitches in the exam. There were many out of syllabus questions as well in the exam.''

There were questions from modernism and post modernism. Some questions were there about how to pursue PhD or important tips to keep in mind while doing PhD or rules to be followed by a researcher while doing PhD. The difficulty level of the exam was moderate. The exam was conducted in a smooth manner and everything went very well.''  

Parv Jain: ''I gave DUET exam for MA English. The difficulty level of the exam was moderate not very hard and not very easy if the students referred the last year questions paper. The exam was nice and I have given my exam well. Most of the questions were based on literary terms, previous year question papers and some questions were also based on the basics of BA English syllabus. Some questions were based on general terms. The exam was well manner and well organised. The paper was easier compared to previous year exam.'' 

Sushil Kumar Yadav: ''I appeared for Environmental Studies exam. The difficulty level of the exam was moderate. The questions were based mainly on the syllabus except a few current affairs questions. The questions were divided equally from each section. The exam was conducted smoothly and there were no technical glitches in the exam. I found the question paper difficult compared to the previous year question paper.'' 

Ishika: ''I appeared for DUET exam for MA English subject. I found the question paper quite difficult compared to the previous year exam and some other PG entrance exams for which I appeared. The exam was quite tough compared to the CUET exam. There were no out of syllabus questions but there were many layered questions. The exam was conducted smoothly and everything went well. There were no technical issues during the exam.''   

DUET 2022 Exam Analysis 

DUET 2022 exam was conducted on first day following all the precautionary measures due to the still existing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation in the country. There were high security arrangements and proper safety measures were taken at different exam centres. The exam started sharp at 8:00 am and was conducted well. However, students talking about the entrance exam revealed that the difficulty level of the exam was moderate to easy. Meanwhile, some candidates found the DUET exam difficult compared to the previous year DUET exam. As per the students, exam was conducted smoothly and there were no technical glitches reported during the exam.    

DUET Exam Timings 

Students were asked to report to the exam centre half an hour before the entrance exam scheduled timing. They were required to be present at 7:20 AM for the first slot of exam from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Gate closing time of the exam centre was 7:30 AM. At the exam centre, candidates were asked to show their DUET admit card along with their government ID. Candidates were also asked to fill the self-declaration at the exam centre before entry.

Unfortunately no. DUET is Delhi University Entrance Test and DU has discontinued the PG Diploma in Bioinformatics programme in 2023. Therefore, preparing for DUET to get admission to the PG Diploma in Bioinformatics programme will not be helpful.
