Jai Hind College is a college for everyone .
Placements: I recently completed my first year studying B.A. psychology. There are around 150 students in my class. We haven't been informed about any placements yet. There is a MYCAP workshop that is offered to first-year students in which they provide you with training for one month and then offer an internship. The student has to pay a fee to enroll in the program.
Infrastructure: The college does not have in-house hostels. There are two buildings, of which one has centralized AC. All the classrooms in that building have AC. There are two cafeterias, one for vegetarians and one for non-vegetarians, as well as an auditorium, library, and AV room. There is no Wi-Fi facility for students.
Faculty: The faculty here is highly knowledgeable and very well qualified. Their teaching techniques are very good. There are two semesters in each year. The papers were of medium level. The marks are divided into 40–60. There is a 60-mark theory paper at the end of each semester, and the 40 marks are divided into 20 marks for assignments and the other 20 for MCQ tests.
Other: The main event at the college is SHOUT. There are different events that take place, organized by different departments. There are various clubs like NSS, Rotaract, and the Social Dramatic Union. All these are handled by the students themselves. There is also a basement with all indoor activities, and the gym khana is responsible for all sporting events.

A vibrant campus life with meaningful courses, internships & lectures.
Placements: JHC provides full major in His/Philo/Psych/English&Eco and part major in political Science. If you opt for B.A. eco you'll be able to secure an internship by second year and if you opt for B.A. in psychology you'll get to conduct research with the professionals.
Infrastructure: Jai Hind doesn't have a hostel of it's own so most student looking to apply in JHC will have to come to Mumbai person and look for a hostel/PG/apartment in your favored location. It would be helpful if you take a hostel/PG/flat in the western line as the station is in walking distance from the college. In terms of infrastructure, Jai Hind doesn't have a campus but it has a foyer and a bleacher where you'll find your peers roaming around. Due to the conjusted space Everybody knows everybody which leads to you building helpful connections for the future.
Faculty: Faculty is one of the prime reasons behind students choosing JHC as their study destination. As the college is autonomous it introduces a lot of skill building Certificate courses for students and the course is reviewed and updated every year. Difficulty of semester exams varies from course to course.
Other: Jai Hind conducts one of the major college fest of India, shout which brings students from different parts of the country in the college.

Jai Hind- A wonderful place to study.
Placements: B.A. courses don't really have placements, as students tend to go for further studies M.A. or get ready for creative jobs (theatre and drama, writing etc.). One advantage the college does have though, is that the teachers constantly offer assistance in the form of finding job vacancies which they offer to students after graduation.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and Library are excellent. However, not much opportunity to play sports due to the small campus size. There's an underground basement and a theatre which can be used for events, but obviously, you'll need permission from the management first.
Faculty: The teachers in English Literature are amazing! They possess in-depth knowledge about their subject and are extremely enthusiastic. Apart from the regular teaching methods, they also conduct group activities, seminars, presentations, book reviews etc. Studying here is enlightening and fun!

Jai Hind college south Mumbai.
Placements: The placement were pretty good. There was a placement cell in the school which was specially instituted for better placement for students. They placement cell organised various interviews in the big corporations and companies. There are many students working in the big firms of the city with the help of placement cell of the college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was very good. The college was easily accessible via road and trains. There was a very big library in the college. There was a/V room in the college to hold various programmes of learning. The college had a very big auditorium for organising various co-curricular activities.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful and qualified one of the best faculty of psychology in Mumbai. Teaching methods were very interactive. There were lot of tours organised by the college for students to get information about the subjects. Overall I would rate my experience excellent.

The college has well-maintained infrastructure.
Placements: Not many students were placed because very few companies visited the campus. As our course is psychology, we need to complete masters to get placed in any company or clinic. The college could provide us with internships in some hospitals and clinics so that we get exposure to practicals.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is the best. Every classroom has AC and Wi-Fi facilities. However, sports room is not provided in the college. The library is well-maintained. Food in the canteen is very tasty and hygienic. Everything in the college is well-maintained.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and highly knowledgeable in their fields. They make sure that we understand what we are learning. They also provide us with extra notes and assignments so that we are thorough with every concept in detail. Practical knowledge is also provided to us.
Other: Events and fests are conducted throughout the year.
