Proficiency Tests For Spanish

• DELE Diplomas of Spanish: These are certifications granted by Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Professional Development of Spain. Exams from levels A1 to C2 are conducted as per the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and the candidate has the option to decide the level to apply for the exam. Candidates who successfully pass the exam receive an official diploma printed by the National Coinage and Stamp Factory (Royal Mint of Spain). The DELEs have indefinite validity and international recognition. It has over 1000 testing centres in 100 countries and five continents.
• The Certificate of the International Service for Spanish Language Assessment SIELE: This exam certifies level mastery of the Spanish language. It is designed and supported by the el Instituto Cervantes (IC), the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), the University of Salamanca (USAL) and the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). SIELE is valid for 5 years. Currently the network has more than 700 examination centres in the world.
