Types of English Courses -UG & PG 

English Courses also termed as English studies which mainly includes language studies. There are various types of English courses like English Certificate Courses, BA in English, Diploma in English, MA in English, PhD in English Literature, and so on. The duration of English Courses may vary as per the course selected. It can take from a few months to 5 years. Candidates of any stream can pursue an English course after 12th standard. In order to pursue higher courses in English, candidates are required to have a UG or PG certificate in English.

Distance mode of education provides the facilities to study remotely from any location. Candidates can study English course at UG level from IGNOU, Karnataka State Open University, TNOU etc.  

Online English Courses -UG 

There are various institutes and portals that offer online English courses at UG level. Courses are designed in a way to provide all the basic knowledge about language and cover the syllabus. Candidates can opt for these courses as per the choice and interest. The duration of these courses may vary from a few hours to a few weeks.

English Diploma Courses -UG 

English Diploma courses and UG courses are quite similar in terms of syllabus. But the eligibility criteria for the course varies. For an English Diploma course at UG level candidates need to have a class 12th or 10th pass certificate. Admission to this course is done on the basis of merit. Some of the diploma English courses are Diploma in Communicative English, Diploma Course in English etc.

English Certification Courses -UG
