AIBE 20 Exam:  The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is a nationwide exam organised by the Bar Council of India (BCI) for law graduates aspiring to practice law in India. The BCI is expected to release the AIBE 20 (XX) Notification in March. The AIBE Notification will carry all important details like the AIBE 20 Exam Date, AIBE 20 Complete Schedule, AIBE 20 Syllabus and other important details. Q:   Has the exam pattern of AIBE 2024 changed?

No, the exam authority, Bar Council of India has not informed about any changes in the exam pattern of AIBE 2024 yet. The exam pattern of AIBE 19 remained same as the previous sessions. Candidates should note that until AIBE 16 Test-Takers were allowed to carry Bare Acts without short notes/notes/ commentary. However, a confirmation about allowing Bare Acts with/without comments from AIBE 19 onwards or not was made available from the exam authority once exam date notification is out. All details of AIBE 19 exam mode, pattern, syllabus and open-book status was confirmed in the exam notification only.

AIBE 20 (XX) Registration

Candidates must note that completing the AIBE 20 registration is mandatory to appear in the AIBE Exam. The BCI will release the AIBE 20 Application Form along with the AIBE 20 Notification 2025.

To apply for AIBE 20 Exam candidates have to visit the official website of AIBE 20; i.e. allindiabarexamination.com. Candidates can complete their AIBE XX (20) Registration with their name, mobile number, email ID, SBC enrollment number and date of birth. Once registered, candidates complete the process to fill the application form of AIBE 2025 as under:

Q:   Is there negative marking in AIBE Exam?

A:

No, there are no negative marking for wrong answers. Candidates will be given 1 mark for each right answer in AIBE 2024 examination. AIBE Exam consists of 100 questions that must be solved within three hours and thirty mintues time. Candidates must note that they will be awarded one marks for each correct answer, however, any wrong answer, no marks will be deducted. Students must acquire a minimum score of 40 per cent marks in the AIBE Exam to receive the "Certificate of Practice."

 How to fill AIBE 20 Application Form 2025?

Candidates can apply for AIBE XX by following these steps:

Step 1: Registration

Visit the official AIBE website and click on the AIBE 20 registration link. Fill in the required details such as:

  • Enrollment state
  • Enrollment number
  • Name
  • Mobile number
  • Email ID

After submission, an OTP will be sent to the registered email.

Step 2: Fill AIBE Application Form

To pass AIBE 19, a candidate must have at least 45% marks in case of being from the general or OBC category, and 40% in case of a candidate belonging to the SC/ST category. Considering you scored 43 marks, it seems that you failed to cross the pass mark.

The latest cutoff for AIBE 19 held on December 22, 2024, is given below for the General/OBC category as well as for the SC/ST/PwD category.

The last date for correction in AIBE registration form was November 22nd 2024. So you can not correct now. Now the admit card downloading is in process from December 15th onwards.
