AILET Topper Profiles 2018

NLU Delhi had shared that it would release the result for AILET 2018 on May 24, 2018. However, National Law University, Delhi declared AILET result for BA LLB (Hons) course admissions an evening before the scheduled date.  

NLU Delhi conducted AILET on May 6, 2018. Most of the students who took AILET 2018 for BA LLB (Hons) admissions shared that the exam was average in terms of difficulty level. Some students felt that questions asked in the law entrance exam were easier as compared to past years’ papers while others found some questions to be tricky in All India Law Entrance Test 2018.

AILET 2018 first merit list has been released by NU Delhi. The National Law University has also shared the number of students who have been shortlisted for admission on the basis of their performance in AILET 2018.

Apart from these numbers, 10 more students would be offered admission under the Foreign Nationals (FN) category.

For BA LLB (Hons) admissions 2018, NLU Delhi has shared separate category-wise merit lists with names of shortlisted candidates. Thus, AILET 2018 merit lists are released as per the below mentioned criteria:

  • AILET-2018 Result (Kashmiri Migrants)
  • AILET-2018 Result (Persons With Disabilities)
  • AILET-2018 Result (Resident of Jammu & Kashmir)

  • AILET-2018 Result (Scheduled Tribe Category)
  • AILET-2018 Result (Roll Number Wise)
  • AILET-2018 RESULT (Marks Wise)
  • Merit List of Selected Candidates Under Foreign National Category

As per AILET 2018 result shared by NLU Delhi, Devansh Kaushik has secured the first rank in this law entrance exam with 98.25 marks. He is closely followed by Harshita Gupta and Anmol Gupta who have secured the second and third rank respectively. Harshita’s score in AILET 2018 is 84 marks while that of Anmol is 83.75. Among the top 10 rank holders in AILET 2018 there are only two girls.

Candidates who have made it to the first merit list of law entrance exam basis cutoffs now need to appear for AILET 2018 counselling round. Further, the official website of NLU Delhi informs: “Individual letters are being dispatched (through email and speed post) to the candidates to remit the fee on or before June 13, 2018. In case of failure in remitting the fee by the due date i.e. June 13, 2018, the provisional admission will automatically stand cancelled”.

It's difficult to say if you can get into an NLU with an AIR of 15466 in CLAT 2024 As to get into one of the top Nlus, general category candidates should aim for a score of 90 or more in CLAT 2024. For SC/ST categories, 60–70 points is considered a decent score.
