Q: Can I join GICED without MAH CET?
It is possible to join GICED without MAH CET, but the quality of the college may be affected. However, it is important to note that MAH CET is a state-level examination that is required for final admission to some colleges in Maharashtra. Some categories of candidates, such as foreign nationals, children of NRI/OCI/PIO, and Indian workers in Gulf countries, may be eligible for direct admission without having to appear for the exam. Additionally, some MBA colleges in Mumbai offer direct admission without taking an entrance exam, but candidates must meet certain eligibility criteria, such as having a minimum CGPA and being in the final year of graduation. Therefore, while it may be possible to join GICED without MAH CET, it is important to research the specific admission requirements for the college and programme of interest.
