The SNAP 2023 exam will be held in December on three days. Candidates will get the option to appear for the test for up to three sessions. The option to mention number of attempts will be there in the SNAP application form. The SNAP registration cum application form 2023 will be released at the SNAP Test website and candidates will have to create a login ID to fill the form.

Q:   What is the application fee for SNAP Test?

A:

The SNAP application fee is INR 2250 to be paid in online mode only through credit/debit card or internet banking. The application fee is to be paid for successful submission of the form. Until the fee is paid, the form will not be accepted. Candidate's must also note that the fee amount is non-refundable. Since, there is no option of form correction in SNAP candidates must make sure they fill the SNAP form correctly otherwise if they enter incorrect data they will have to fill a fresh form and pay the fees again. The fee for every test session and every SIU institute is to be paid additionally at the time of form filling only. Fee is to be paid for each session. Those who shall not pay for session 2 or 3, or for SIU institute/s will not be eligible for the same. The fee per session is INR 2250 and the fee per institute is INR 1000.

Q:   Can I submit SNAP application form offline?

A:

It is preferable to submit SNAP application form in online mode only.  Candidates must fill the online application form at the SNAP Test website before the deadline. The online application process for SNAP includes creating a login account at SNAP website, filling the application form and payment of fees. However, there is provision to submit the SNAP application form offline by post. You can mail the duly filled application form to the SNAP office with a demand draft of the requisite fees. 

The offline fee payment mode for SNAP exam is Demand Draft (DD). Candidates can submit a DD of INR 2,250 per test from any Nationalised Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune. You can send the form and DD at:

Q:   Do I need to fill multiple SNAP application forms if I want to apply to multiple Symbiosis institutes?

A:

No, candidates need not fill multiple SNAP application forms if they want to apply to multiple Symbiosis institutes. The SNAP application form will have a field in which the candidates can select their preferred institutes and pay INR 1,000 per institute. Candidates must make sure that they make college selection wisely as the SNAP application form in not editable after submission and the fee amount is non-refundable. Also, if you haven’t selected the preferred colleges in the SNAP form, you will not be shortlisted for admission even if you meet the cut off.

Thus, it is very important for you to select SIU colleges option in the SNAP application form wisely. The college selection should be final before SNAP form submission.

SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2023

  • Eligibility criteria for SNAP Test is graduation or equivalent degree from a recognised university.
  • Candidates in the final year of graduation can also apply for SNAP 2023. 
  • There is no age limit to appear for SNAP.

SNAP application form can be filled in online mode only. Explained below is the process in brief:

  • Open the SNAP 2023 website in a new window: org
  • Click on 'New User - Register'
  • Enter name, phone number, email ID and other details to create a login account
  • Register with OTP and login with the SNAP 2023 login ID and password sent in email
  • Enter relevant details in the online application form
  • Select desired test city, PG courses and SIU institutes
  • Click on 'save/submit button'
  • Pay SNAP fee of INR 1,950 to complete the process

Q:   What are the documents required for SNAP application form filling?

A:

At the time of SNAP registration filling candidates need certain important documents to fill the required fields in the application form. They are also required to upload a couple of documents with the application form. The two documents that are to be uploaded are – scanned signature and passport size photo.

  • The passport size photo should be less than three months old and preferably with white background
  • The scanned signature should be against a white background and clearly visible
  • Acceptable formats of the scanned photo and signature are jpg, .jpeg, .png or .gif

Candidates must keep the following documents by their side at the time of form filling to ensure that the entries are done with valid and correct information:

  • Date of birth proof
  • Proof of address
  • Class 10 marksheet
  • Class 12 marksheet
  • Graduation marksheet
  • ·PwD certificate (if applicable)
  • Debit/credit card or net banking details

Q:   Is it mandatory to fill SNAP application form for admission to MBA programmes of SIU institutes?

A:

Yes, it is mandatory to fill the SNAP application form for admission to the MBA programmes of the SIU institute. There is a field in the SNAP application form where candidates have to mention their choice of SIU colleges and MBA courses they wish to pursue. They need to pay INR 1000 per college selection. There will be no institute specific application form released later. Candidates will have to use the SNAP application ID to fill the admission shortlist forms of the constituent institutes. If a candidate fails to mention a college in their SNAP application form, they will not be shortlisted for WAT-GE-PI of that SIU institute.

Q:   What is the process of SNAP 2024 registration?

A:

SNAP 2024 registration process will be online at SNAP TEST website. Candidates will hve to fill the online SNAP application form at the exam website by creating a login ID. The SNAP fee payment will have to be made online while filling the application form. Candidates need to mention the number of attempts in a single form only. They also have to select the SIU colleges and courses for admission in the same form. The process of SNAP application form filling has been described below:

  1. Go to SNAP Test website
  2. Click on 'new registration' 
  3.  Enter personal details, nationality, city, phone number and email ID
  4.  Verify registration through OTP received
  5. Login with the application number and password received in mail 
  6. Select test cities and sessions 
  7. Enter academic details and upload photo/scanned signature 
  8. Pay the application fee to complete the process.

Q:   Can I make corrections in my SNAP form after submission?

A:

Correction in the already submitted application form is not allowed in SNAP as it doesn't have form correction provision like other MBA entrance exams. Candidates can edit their form only till the time it is not submitted and the fee is not paid. Until the form is saved in the student dashboard, you can edit it. Once the fee payment is done, your SNAP application will be locked for examination agency’s verification.

Thus, candidates must preview the SNAP application form at least once before submitting it. If they make a mistake in the form, they will have to fill a fresh form before the deadline and if they miss the deadline and the application window is closed, they will not be able to appear for the exam. 

Q:   I belong to Reserved category. Do I need to fill a separate SNAP 2024 registration form?

A:

No, you don’t have to fill a separate SNAP 2024 application form as it is common for candidates belonging to all categories. The application fee is also common for all categories. The only category specific criteria is SNAP is the graduation marks, which is 45 per cent in aggregate as against 50 per cent for General category candidates.

You will need to mention your category in the form submission to avail marks relaxation. At time of admissions you will need to submit cast certificate and other relevant documents to avail benefits related to Reservation criteria as fixed by the Government of India. Seat allotment will also be based on reservation criteria as applicable for various categories.
