TS ICET Normalisation Process

  • SASD: Sum of Average (A) and Standard Deviation (SD) of the section of a particular session.
  • GASD: Sum of Average (A) and Standard Deviation (SD) of all the candidates across all sessions of all sections put together
  • STA: Average score of the top 0.1 per cent of the test takers in a section of a particular session.
  • GTA: Average mark of the top 0.1 per cent of all the candidates across all the sessions of sections put together.

TS ICET Tie-Breaking Criteria

In case two or more candidates have an equal normalised score, TSCHE will resolve the ties by following the below-mentioned criteria:

  1. Candidates with a higher normalised score in Section A will be prioritised, while rank allotment.
  2. If the tie prevails, candidates with a higher normalised score in Section B will be considered for a better rank.
  3. If the tie still persists, TSCHE provides a better rank to the older candidate as per the date of birth mentioned in the SSC certificate.

TS ICET 2022 Rank Allotment

TSCHE holds the responsibility to rank candidates. Allotment of TS ICET rank is based on the normalised scores of the candidates. Candidates with a higher overall normalised score will be prioritised for rank allotment.

TS ICET Qualifying Cutoff
