KMAT application process 2024 has closed for Session 2. The last date to fill the KMAT application form 2024 (Session 2) was November 10, 2024. The second session KMAT 2024 was conducted on November 16, 2024, in the home-based remote online proctored mode. 

Session 1: KMAT registration 2024 started on June 22, 2024. KMAT registration is an online process. The KMAT application fee payment window opened on July 4, 2024. The last date to fill the KMAT application form 2024 was September 17, 2024. Earlier, the last date of application was September 10, 2024. The exam was conducted on September 22, 2024, in a home-based online proctored mode for two hours. 

Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) conducts the KMAT 2024 exam. The application form for KMAT 2024 is available online only. KMAT application form 2024 for MBA/PGDM and MCA is the same, and candidates have to select their course for admission while filling up the form itself. Candidates must pay the application fee to complete their KMAT registrations. Documents Required for Filling the KMAT Application Form 2024

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria of KMAT exam?

A:

The following is the eligibility criteria to appear for KMAT Karantaka exam:

  • Age limit: Minimum 21 years old. No cap on maximum age. 
  • Qualifying Exam: It is mandatory for the candidates to hold a Bachelor degree (three years duration)/master degree in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/ Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates must have passed the above mentioned qualifying examination with at least 50 per cent aggregate. SC/ST candidates have the benefit of 5 per cent relaxation. Minimum qualifying aggregate for SC/ST is 40 per cent.
  • Reservation: 15 per cent seats reserved for SC, 7.5 per cent for ST, 27 per cent for OBC and 3 per cent seats reserved for PD.

If the candidates don't have the necessary documents supporting their claim of completion of Bachelor's Degree they can be removed from the process thereafter. Candidates will then be shortlisted on the basis on their performance in KMAT. The scorecards of the candidates will be sent to the colleges The selected candidates who have qualified in KMAT need to report to their respective college to secure admissions.

How to Fill the KMAT 2024 Application Form?

Check the below steps to apply for the KMAT exam.

Step 1–KMAT registration

  • Visit the official website and click on 'KMAT 2024 Application' from the top menu bar
  • Click on the 'Register Button' or copy the following link in your web browser: https://4.213.192.2/form-submission/kmat-register
  • Candidates need to fill in details such as name, date of birth, e-mail, phone number, and country to register for Karnataka KMAT 2024.

  • On successful registration, an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number that candidates need to enter in the space provided on the KMAT Karnataka application window.

  • Candidates will receive their application number and password on their registered mobile number and email ID.

Step 2- Login to fill out the KMAT application form 

Candidates need to log in with their KMAT credentials i.e. Application Number and Password to fill out the form. The details to be filled in the application form are:

  • Candidates must fill in their names as mentioned on their official documents.

  • Candidates must select the appropriate option irrespective of the fact whether they are or aren't residents of Karnataka state.

  • Enter the date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format.

  • Select the appropriate category option, i.e., MBA or MCA.

Please Note: The candidates who are applying for two streams have to register separately for each stream. Separate hall tickets will be issued to those candidates

  • Applicants need to specify the stream/discipline in which they have obtained the graduation degree.

  • Complete postal address and other communication details should be correctly mentioned in the space provided. Candidates should write their first name in CAPITAL LETTERS only.
