Q: How can I calculate SRCC GBO scores?
SRCC GBO score is determined on the basis of correct answers marked by aspirants in the SRCC GBO exam. For each correct answer, candidates are awarded four marks. For an incorrect answer, one mark is deducted from the candidates' total score. This means that for four incorrect answers, four marks will be deducted from the total score. The raw score of candidates is scaled with reference to the total number of candidates appearing in the exam. The SRCC GBO percentile is the percentage of candidates among those who have appeared for the exam and scored below the candidate in that category. That is, if a candidate has scored 60 per cent, this means that 60 per cent of candidates who have appeared in SRCC GBO exam scored below him/her. Based on the percentile score of candidates they will be offered admission to SRCC GBO compared to others who have appeared in the test.

Candidates are selected based on three criteria, i.e. SRCC GBO exam, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. SRCC will draw a merit list based on the scores obtained by the applicants in the written test and will accordingly call the students for the further selection procedure. A limited number of candidates will be invited for the GDPI round in order of the merit list released for each category. After the GDPI round, SRCC will release the final merit list which will have aggregate marks scored by the candidates in all three rounds. Check the weightage of each round in the table below.
Please note: Candidates who qualify the SRCC GBO, have to appear for the GDPI to be eligible to be considered for admissions.
